"Are you nervous?"

I'm almost shitting bricks. I'm so nervous.

Okay, that might be a slight exaggeration, and the mental image of trying to squeeze out a brick makes me shiver uncomfortably, but yeah, I'm nervous.

"Natalie?" The same voice calls, and I snap out of my thoughts.

"Yeah. Very." I say with a small chuckle.

We're in Harry's New York apartment, which I'm seeing for the first time this trip, getting ready for the Met Gala this evening.

We arrived yesterday, and it was an absolute whirlwind. I was suitably impressed with the fancy apartment, taking ample time to gawk at the décor and the stunning view from all the windows.

Harry had booked for us to go out for a fancy meal last night, which was an utter dream. He took me to some restaurant with a name I couldn't pronounce, that looked so expensive I don't even want to guess how much the evening cost.

He had also organised for a new dress to be sent to the apartment ready for me to wear, so I felt like a real movie star upon our New York arrival.

The restaurant was quiet and intimate, and the evening in general, despite arriving earlier in the day and New York being so manic, was incredibly relaxed

The restaurant was quiet and intimate, and the evening in general, despite arriving earlier in the day and New York being so manic, was incredibly relaxed. A far cry from how today's been.

"You've walked a Victoria's Secret runway babe," Harry L says from behind me, "surely that was worse. Plus, you walked the carpet at the iHeart awards, you're practically a pro."

Harry's currently sitting on his sofa, looking over at me where I'm standing in front of a full length mirror that's been brought into the middle of his living area. I'm in my bra and pants, which is something I'm getting remarkably used to these days.

"Victoria's secret was like a performance though, with the music, and the Met Gala is slightly different to the iHeart awards... it's a whole other level." I say, watching him in the mirror behind me.

"You'll be fine." Harry says from the sofa, giving me a reassuring smile. "You take to these things like a duck to water."

"Alright mum. Thanks for the encouragement." I snark back, chuckling along with Harry L.

"Fine, I just won't be nice then." Harry says with a fake humph, turning away from me. I roll my eyes, but don't fight the smile spreading across my face.

"Alright," Harry L says, appearing from behind me with my dress for the evening, "step into this for me."

He lays it on the ground delicately, and I step into it, staying still as he pulls it up and over my arms and shoulders. It's just like I remember it from the fitting, but as he zips up the back, I can tell he adjusted it slightly to be even more form fitting.

"Lovely darling." Harry says from the sofa, and I give a little curtsy.

"Okay, you go and get your hair and makeup done, and then we'll put your shoes on just before you guys leave."
