I open my eyes as the sunlight is pouring through the window next to my bed. I groan loudly as I start fidgeting in my bed to try and find a comfortable position. I couldn't sleep last night once I had made my way in my dorm after William had dropped me off. The only thing I could think about was his piercing blue eyes and the smell of his cologne. This man is so freaking hot, and I might never get to see him again. I turn around to face my bedside table just as my phone starts ringing, the picture of a drunk Aubrey appearing on my phone screen. Yes, her contact picture is her drunk, which I am freaking proud of because it's hilarious.

"Hey, you," I pick up.

"Well hello," she beams. "We are going out for brunch, be ready in 20 minutes, we'll pick you up."

"I'm not even-," I stop.

She just hung up on me. I groan loudly, again, before getting up to get myself ready quickly. I throw on a white blouse which I tuck into a pair of black pleated shorts before slipping into my vans. I look at myself into the mirror, shaking my head and playing in my hair to try and give them some kind of volume, before sighing loudly.

"Ponytail it is," I mumble to myself.

I throw my hair up in a high ponytail before applying mascara, taking my purse, and leaving the dorm room. Nick's car is already at the entrance of the building once I walk outside. I get in quickly.

"Hello," Aubrey smiles brightly.

I narrow my eyes at her, not knowing her to be a morning person.

"Well hello sunshine," I answer suspiciously.

Something has to have happened between her and Nick for her to be so upbeat at 9 in the morning. We make our way towards a small breakfast restaurant, which is technically still on our campus. Once we get there, we step out of the car and enter the building.

"Table for four," Nick asks the waitress.

"Four?" I ask Aubrey.

"William is coming," she winks at me.

I can feel my cheeks heating up, going up in flames! I guess I am about to see him again, way sooner than I thought I would. I am both excited, and weirdly calm as we sit down at our table. Aubrey and Nick are exchanging small smiles, and glances, making it obvious a step had been taken in their relationship.

"Alright, what happened between you two?" I bluntly ask.

Nick smirks as Aubrey blushes, looking down at the table.

"I made it official," Nick admits.

"Finally," I exclaim. "It was about time, you two have been head over heels over each other since you guys met at the end of year campus party in May!"

I hear a deep chuckle coming from behind me, and my whole body becomes like a puddle of water.

"She got a point here, you've been talking about Aubrey since that party," William laughs before sitting down next to me.

As he places himself on the chair, his arm briefly touches mine, sending tingles down my whole body. My breath gets caught in my throat as I shut my eyes close. The warmth radiating from his body is weirdly southing me, making me relax even though I have chills running through my whole body. I can hear their talking, but I am far away in my head. I am focused on my breathing, my eyes looking anywhere but at him. How could someone make me feel so weak in the knees and comfortable at the same time?

"So Nick told me you're starting the new semester at our campus," I hear Aubrey say to him.

"Yeah, I was at the other campus for my first to years of bachelor, but I moved out of my old apartment and your campus was closer to my new one," he explains.
