i will remember
the words delicately
arranged from the
stanzas of silence
as i sat on those soft-hewn benches
gnarls of wood detangling
words
never moved past my
graceless lips
but
for now
all i deliver are these empty
rhythms lost
rhymes bare
wisps of forgotten poems
