Chapter One

Hello, my fellow readers! I am back again with another fanfic story of Daragon. I know that I still have one unfinished story (Torn Between Love and Hate). I promise you that I will indeed finish that eventually. I am just stuck on this story and my brain has been slow I guess it's going with the flow of this pandemic. Anyways, I hope that all of you are doing well despite this pandemic. My family and I are also doing well and have all been vaccinated.

Jaragon Kingdom:

Everyone in the kingdom is in chaos because King Thunder Park collapsed during their private dinner party for princess Sandara who's now ten years old. The queen is panicking and couldn't stop crying. First Princess Sandara was sent to her room while the rest of the staff are all losing their minds. Yung Guk who's the first right-hand man, a Knight General, and best friend to the king stepped up to oversee the situation and assigned the staff their tasks.

"Kwang Soo call the king's doctor and ask him to come over to the palace as soon as possible. Jung won go get your men to help us bring the king to his chamber."

All the castle staff is incredibly taking their job seriously and had followed the order of the Right Hand Yung Guk. They brought the king to his private chambers and the doctor did a full evaluation. The castle has its private hospital fully equipped. As the doctor finished with his evaluation, he still wasn't able to complete his diagnosis. The king seems to have fallen into a coma and is not waking up.

Queen Dami is in her emotional battle but at the same time trying to be strong, especially for her daughter princess Sandara.

Prince Jung ki came rushing to the castle upon hearing the news about his adopted younger brother. "What is going to happen to my younger brother doc? Is he going to be alright? What is going to happen now?" He asked the Right Hand Man of the King.

Yung Guk pretended to not know anything. But before the king fell into a coma they have already suspected someone is planning of taking possession of their kingdom. They have already made preparations from a long time ago without giving any indication of knowing that somebody is planning to make himself king. They have prepared princess Sandara to learn different kinds of martial arts from combat training to sword fighting to ninja style, survival training to management and government laws. Yes. Management learning at a  very young age. Princess Sandara is a gifted child who has a rare gift of photographic memory. She can learn anything in just a few minutes of studying it. They made sure that she'll be able to take care of herself and the kingdom when the time comes.

"As princess Sandara is still at a very young age and still not able to rule the kingdom. I, prince Jung ki will be seizing over the throne as the new king of Jaragon." Everyone in the hall was alarm as the older adopted brother of king Thunder announced to the whole kingdom that he will be replacing his younger brother to the throne.

"What about our queen Dami? Why can't she temporarily take the ruling of the kingdom?" One of the people from Jaragon kingdom asked.

"Queen Dami is very unstable right now. Also, she will need time to care for the former king. I will be the one ruling  the Jaragon kingdom and my wife princess Ji he will be the new queen and of course my daughter princess Ye Ji will be here as well." Prince Jung ki announced once more.

The people became apprehensive and scared because they know that Prince Jung ki will not be a good king nor a good ruler of the Jaragon kingdom. He is a greedy and heartless human being along with his wife and daughter except for the young prince who is just a year younger than princess Dara. They are not capable to rule the kingdom.

Just as what Prince Jung ki had said he made himself the new king of Jaragon without going to the adequate protocols of the kingdom laws. His wife princess Ji hye made herself the queen and started instructing people around to organize a big gathering for them as the new king and queen of Jaragon. Their daughter princess Ye Ji who is a couple of years older than the first princess Sandara is another story. She's a spoiled brat who has the mixed personalities of her parents in her.

The whole kingdom is in agony upon learning that King Thunder has fallen ill and is now in a coma. They understand that queen Dami herself is not able to rule for the duration period because of the king's condition. First princess Sandara is still a child herself. The people of Jaragon have no choice but to accept Prince Jung ki to be their temporary king of Jaragon until the real king wakes up.

The first thing that the ambitious king Jung ki did was banished the true king and his family out of the palace.

Young Guk took the true royal family away from the palace of kingdom Jaragon. He and the true king Thunder have obscured all the logical circumstances. He, unfortunately, has to leave the country with the princess after making sure that the true king and queen are comfortably settled. As promised, to king Thunder he will take the princess far far away from the kingdom and returned when she's ready.

"Yung Guk, here. Please guard this with all your might and give this to my daughter when the right time comes. Also as soon as she comes back to this country make sure to file this arrangement." The queen gave him the royal ring for the princess to have when she's of the age of twenty-five and a document that he needs to file when they ever come back. "Don't worry, his family is well aware of everything." This will prove that she is the true royal princess and the future queen of the kingdom of Jaragon." she then turned to her daughter Dara.

"Come here, princess." the queen said as she opened her arms to her daughter. Dara ran to her mother right away as tears begun to flow on her cheeks. "I love you so much my princess and your dad loves you as well. Please do not ever forget that. You do understand why we have to stay here and send you away right?" Dara nodded still hugging her queen mother. "Please stay strong and listen to Yung Guk do not give him a hard time. Your dad and I will be waiting for your return as the queen of our kingdom." Dara tightened her hold on her mom.

"I love you and dad very much. I will abide and fulfill my duty as the future queen of our kingdom." Dara said to her queen mother.

After a while, she went to her father's bedside and made a promise to him. "Dad I will come back stronger and fully equipped to be the future queen of our kingdom. Please wait for me. I love you dad!" she said as she hugged her father.

"Yung Guk, please take good care of our daughter and yourself. Raised her as your daughter and let her live a normal life." the queen then finally said goodbye to them as he and princess Dara left.
