Thirty-One

Jiyong and Dara arrived back in the Jaragon Kingdom with Yung-Guk and Chaerin. They were picked up by Seungri and their bodyguards.

"Welcome back sir and boss lady," Seungri said grinning from ear to ear as he was about to hug Dara. Jiyong glared at him and he immediately stops from hugging Dara.

Dara giggled at the two and Chaerin followed through. This made Seungri looked in her direction. Chaerin just scoffed at him as she raises her brow at him while smirking. This made Seungri creases his brows for no other woman had dare to sneered at him directly.

They arrived at Jiyong's office building as he asked his driver to take his wife back home. "Please take my wife back home safely," he said to the driver then towards Dara. "Please call me or message me as soon as you get home. Hmm?" he said as he holds her hands. Dara nodded and Jiyong took her in his arms and passionately kissed her before releasing her to get out of the car.

He watched as the car faded away from his vision. "This way boss," Seungri said.

They walked to the elevator and stopped at the seventeenth floor to where their conference room is located. It is below Jiyong's office floor located on the eighteenth floor.
Everyone was already there for the emergency meeting. He saw Top, Yongbae, and Dae amongst the men and women present. Yung-Guk and Chaerin are also present which made Seungri crimped upon seeing her. From what he's understanding this is a meeting for all the Knight' special forces only.

Jiyong took his seat at the end of the table in the back facing the big screen. On his right is Top and next to him is a Youngbae then Dae. On his left side Yung-Guk and Chaerin. The rest are the most trusted knight's special forces leaders. Jiyong picked them all himself after they did a thorough background check on them. He needs to make sure that his team can be trusted and do the job, especially that it involves his wife. Seungri is the one presenting by the screen.

"Like you, all can see here this is the royal family tree. But of course, we are not going to go through the whole family tree. We are going to start with King Eunkwang with his wife Queen Rose (Dara's grandparents), his son King Thunder inherited the throne at the age of twenty-four and married Queen Dami the following year. They had a child together, a daughter." he paused as the people started to ask questions. Some of the leaders are not aware of this history. The only royal family they know of are the current ones.

"Let's hold off on the questions for later. Everything will be explained to you." Jiyong said with full of authority. He then urged Ri to proceed.

"As I was saying, they have a daughter and her name is princess Sandara Park. I know that most of us have never heard of her. But she's real and still alive. Fifteen years ago, there was a revolt at the castle that no one from the outside world knew anything about. Your parents and grandparents may know, but not for some of us here who were very young at that time or may not even be born. The current King that we have right now was the adopted son of the previous king Eunkwang and Queen Rose. But the adoption process was not completed because king Jungki's father is still alive. According to our constitution, adoption cannot be legally completed when one of the parents is still alive." Everyone was shocked including Jiyong and his friends who looked at him. Jiyong just gave them a stoic face  though he did hear this part for Dara.

"King Thunder was unknowingly and slowly being poison over the years. Until his health started failing. Queen Dami's mental health at that time was also was being manipulated. This was all were never been reported. They have only announced the failure of his health and are now in a coma. As for princess Sandara when the current king took over the throne the true royal family members were expelled out of the castle. Princess Sandara who was ten years old at that time grew up in the United States and stayed there for eight years then later on moved to Australia and lived there for eight years. She moved to two different countries because twice her location was discovered. There was a threat to her life and she almost got killed at one point." Jiyong's ear and face turned red due to anger but immediately covered it up. His team and close friends turned to look at him once more and they knew that the dragon in him has been activated.

Seungri notices this as well and was a bit hesitant to continue. Clearing his throat he proceeded. "Before I continue, I would like to introduce to you the former king Thunder's Knight General who has been taking care of princess Sandara over the years." everyone in the room was in awe. "I would like to call on Knight General Yung-Guk. Sir if you can please brief us on what you know." Seungri respectfully asked.

Yung-Guk nodded and walked to the front as he introduced himself. "Hello everyone! As you all already know who I am, I would like to share with you briefly a bit of the past. Prince Jungki who now claims himself as the King of the Jaragon Kingdom was the one who instigated all these along with his biological father. They have secretly poisoned King Thunder over the years. But before that, he had done so many evil things to the royal family. He and his father had killed the former King Eunkwang and her Highness Rose and made it look like it was an accident. Princess Sandara was only four years old at that time and she was actually with them and she was the only one who survived. When princess Sandara was eight years old she went with her mother Queen Dami to visit one of the orphanages and on their way back they were blocked by prince Jungki's men that he hired. They took princess Sandara and held her captive for a couple of days." he paused and look at Jiyong. "She was tortured physically, verbally and mentally but luckily she had overcome it because she's a very strong kid." 

Jiyong was very quiet and trying to absorbed everything he just heard. He felt an undesirable hatred for the person he had learned to respect and had treated as a second father. He worked triple hard to get into his current position as a Knight General. He doesn't want others to think of him that he got that position because he had dated his daughter. He had studied and trained himself day and night for five years since he was fifteen.
