"The former king Eunkwang and the former Knight General Joon Kwon were good friends and had fought hand in hand together during the war and successfully brought peace, prosperity, and freedom to our people." he paused as he looked at each one of them. "After the hardships, they have made a blood pack and have their first grandchildren to marry each other. Knight General Kwon had his first grandchild before King Eunkwang. He had a grandson and that is you Jiyong. When princess Sandara came along the two best friends were exceedingly delighted that the pack they have made will come true. I am not sure if you still remember this." he turned to Jiyong. "When you were six years old you're grandfather brought you to the castle to meet your betrothed princess Sandara. The two of you became close right away but your visit did not last long because you have to start school. Then your grandfather brought you again when you were eight but...again it was only for a few days and that was the last time you saw each other."

Jiyong tried to recall everything. He remembers seeing a beautiful little girl who captured his heart at a young age with her smile. He recalled the time that they were in the garden playing. She was in the swing as he was pushing her higher. He can hear her contagious laughter as he was pushing her on the swing. He couldn't help it at that time when he suddenly stopped the swing and she almost fell backward but he was able to catch her. They stared at each other and he kissed her on the lips. He grunted at the realization of what he did back then. He suddenly felt all the creases eyes are on him. He then snapped out of it and cleared his throat awkwardly. He took a mental note of what he just discovered. All this time he thought that that little girl was Ye Ji.

"So you are saying that Dara has been betrothed to me since before we were born. Is she aware of this?" Jiyong asked.

"No, she is not. She was also astounded as you when she found out."

"When did she found out?"

"It was when your grandfather invited us for dinner after months of trying to speak with him."

Jiyong creases his brows as he recalled what his grandfather told him about inviting a very important guest over for dinner which he wasn't able to come. So, in the end, his wife decided to marry him and wanting to make this marriage work no matter what. He admires his wife's bravery even more so now for that.

"Hyung, did you know that unnie is a princess?" Seungri asked.

"No. No, I did not at first. Though there have been a few incidents where the nuns slipped calling her her royal title. I didn't ask her because I know that she is not ready to tell me anything just yet."

"So, that means that princess Ye Ji is the fake one," Seungri said not caring about who heard him.

Jiyong furrowed his brows in deep thought.

"Is princess Sandara well prepared to rule the country? I mean no offense to the princess but she's a well-known public model and people might not take her seriously to be their next ruler." Top added.

"Believe it or not she's more than capable to rule this country than the king who put himself on that throne. She's been trained since she was four years old and had been studying nonstop to be accepted as the new ruler. Let me ask you this. Who do you think is the secret advisor to the castle?" Yung-Guk asked.

Stunned everyone in the room looked at each other.

"What do you mean by that exactly?" Jiyong asked.

"Though princess Sandara was not officially in the country she has been discreetly handling all the decision-making process. What I meant by that is that the person who stands as an advisor to the king is actually just the front person who was not really the one advising him. Her Highness is well educated when it comes to the decree of this country. As you may have already noticed that prince Jung Ki and his wife do not care about anything else but how they can be known as the king and queen who can plan on having extravagant gatherings and corruption. All the other decisions and planning for the good of this country did not come from him but from princess Sandara herself. The current advisor Junghwa was one of the former king's trusted consultants and he is aware of everything and would constantly report back to her Highness and seek advice. He will then generate it back to prince Jung ki and the latter will show the citizens that he made the plans and all the decisions himself."

Everyone in the room was speechless and could not believe what they are discovering now.

"Since when did my wife started doing all these?"

"Since she was nine years old." Jiyong and the rest gasped in surprise. "The former king would always include her in all the meetings and planning and ask for her input. King Thunder already knows that his time as the ruler of this country and a father to his only child is not much longer. That is why he started educating the princess at a very young age."

Jiyong is still dumbfounded but very proud of his wife's upbringing and pieces of wisdom. He never thought that the little girl who captured his heart at a young age is someone very special.

"Alright, we need to plan and make her transition smoothly from being an entertainment model to becoming the Queen of this kingdom," he suggested.

"That's actually a great idea. But don't you think that we need to get her involvement in this?" Youngbae chime in.

Jiyong nodded in agreement. He made a mental note to talk to his wife and bring out everything in the open.

"Okay, that is it for now. I will contact you all back once I talked to my wife. In the meantime, I would like to ask you all that everything that we have discovered and discuss just now will stay within this room and just amongst us present right this minute."They then looked at each other.

"Chaerin I expect you to work harder in protecting my wife since you are always with her and to continue reporting back to me and sir Yung-Guk." she nodded in agreement.

"For now, we will name prince Jung ki and his family as "fake family" and the former king and his family are the "true family," he then turned to his most trusted men and friends.

"Hyung I would appreciate it if you can please assemble your most skilled men to watch the castle and the true royal families. Please have them immediately report to me all the activities that the fake families are doing as well as updating me on the condition of the true royal couple."

"Copy that." Top replied.

"Youngbae. Please gather all the information about the illegal activities that the fake families have done and find out where everything is at."

"Yes, sir," Bae responded.

"Dae, we are going to need you to watch everything discreetly without anyone knowing."

"Sir, yes sir!" he said.

"Ri, I will need for you to be able to check the true royal king and queen's current conditions. If you can discreetly see them for yourself and make a full medical evaluation on them both would be greatly appreciated. I know that it will help my wife to feel at peace and motivated to finish what needs to be done. I will expect your daily reports via email."

"Bae makes sure that everything is untraceable."

Ri was the first to react while the rest was stunned. From the moment they have met and become friends with Jiyong he was never this emotional and sentimental. He rarely shows this side of him to anyone which they don't mind because that made him the kind of person he is now. Born a leader but has the heart of gold.
