Dara arrived at the city hall by herself, and she went straight to the registrar's office. She still has about five minutes, to spare and she wants to use it to briefly talk to the man she's about to marry. Before she opened the door she quickly checked herself in the mirror. She's wearing a very conservative off-white business attire with a pair of the same color six inches stilettos. This time her legs are covered though the suit fit still shows her curvaceous body. Her hair is up in a neat bun and she's wearing very minimal make-up. Just a light glow stick, mascara, and lip gloss.
Jiyong turned around as soon as he heard the door opened. There he saw the most beautiful woman he had ever seen with a body to die for. He can't seem to take his eyes off of her and can not control the way his heart is beating.
As soon as Dara opened the door she first noticed a man's back as she recalled seeing before. Once he turned around and made eye contact with her, her heart skips a beat. He is very handsome with jet black hair cut neatly. His eyes are mesmerizing that once you look into it you feel that you are being sucked into his soul. He's wearing a charcoal grey suit with an off-white necktie that matches her outfit. He is very tall and even though with her height of five feet nine and a six inches stilettos that she is wearing he still towers her in several inches. She slowly approaches him and gave him a tight lip smile before introducing herself.
Jiyong noticed that she's pretty tall with long legs. Jiyong's body built is far away from a regular Asian man. He's six feet and four inches tall with a wide and very muscular body built.
"Hello! My name is Sandara Park. It is nice to finally meet you." she then extended her right hand out to him.
Jiyong hesitated at first as he looked at her hand. "Jiyong Kwon." he finally said as he took her hand that she offered. Both of them were discreetly shocked as the spark of electricity travel to their own body.
Dara recovered first as she began by saying. "Mr. Kwon. I just want to say this before we proceed to this wedding and I will only say it once." She paused a bit before continuing. "To me, marriage is very sacred. Though this marriage was originally planned for both of us, and not based on love for that matter. I plan to make this marriage work because I don't believe in divorce. I will fulfill the duty of a wife in any way possible. All I asked from you is to give me time and a chance and treat me the way the wife should be treated by her husband. I will do the same to you. We need to build our trust in each other and support each other in anything that will make this marriage work and lasts for a long time. I hope that you can agree with me on this."
Jiyong listened well with his heart and mind to what this woman who is about to be his other half. He has never met a woman who can confidently express herself. She knows what she wants and is not afraid to fight for it.
"Alright. I will agree with that. We will take this marriage one day at a time." Jiyong finally said.
The judge who is about to officiate their marriage finally came out and their wedding begin. After they were announced as husband and wife the kiss was supposed to happen.
Jiyong and Dara faced each other awkwardly. But then Jiyong surprisingly grabbed her closer to him by the waist which shocked Dara. This didn't go unnoticed by Jiyong as he can see how nervous she is. He slowly moved closer to her face as they stared at each other. He quickly looked at her luscious lip and finally kissed her. It was slow at first but Jiyong did not stop as he gently bit her lower lip for entrance.
Dara gasped and in shock as she felt Jiyong's tongue inside her mouth. She doesn't know what to do nor know how to respond for this is her first kiss ever.
Jiyong finally ended the kiss and stare at her in the eye. He noticed a few things but did not say anything. Her face is flushed and her reaction is very intriguing to him.
The judge then cleared his throat and congratulated both of them as he asked them to sign the marriage certificate.
Down the hall, there was a bit of awkwardness between the two of them but this time Jiyong took charge. "Did you drive here? Where do you live?"
Dara shook her head as she doesn't have a car yet and so she took public transportation to get here. The reason why she was trying to apply for an ID card and so she can get a driver's license.
Jiyong studied her reaction and asked. "How did you get here then?"
"Uhmm...I took public transportation."
Jiyong frowned in shock upon hearing this.
"She is full of mystery." he thought to himself and he is more determined to find out more of this woman who is now his wife. He then took her by the arm and pulled her towards the door. While Dara was shocked by this.
Once outside he let her arm go as his car and his driver is already waiting for them outside. He signaled for her to get inside the car but she halted behind him and Jiyong notice this.
"Is there something wrong?" he asked with a stoic face.
Dara nervously looked at him for she cannot read him at all. But yet she obliges by getting inside the car quietly. Followed by Jiyong.
"Where to?" he asked still with a stoic face.
Dara gave him the address to where she and her dad is staying in the meantime. As the driver pulled over in front of the apartment building which is located in the city near her agency. Jaejoong was the one who found them this apartment. Though the neighborhood is not that upscale, inside their apartment feels like a home to them.
"Won't you come in?" She nervously asked Jiyong as he took a step inside her apartment. He noticed that her apartment is small but very clean and cozy. There's a homey feeling, though its location is not in the well-off community.
"Do you live here alone?" Just as Jiyong asked a man in his fifties came out of one of the rooms.
The two men stared at each other as they both reacted in a manner that only a handful of people know about. Unknown to both men that they are both Knight General to the Royal Family. Meaning they have the highest position and are the strongest amongst all the knights due to the extent of their training. They are both the right-hand men of the king himself. Prior to both of them was Jiyong's grandfather. Though Jiyong seems to be the youngest Knight General, it was because the one before him fell ill and passed away. King Joong ki had ordered all the knights to compete and undergo very tough and difficult training. Jiyong was recruited because of his grandfather's legendary history in which he happily accepted and joined while he was still in high school and that was how he met princess Seo Ye Ji.
Dara interrupted the glaring battle between the two men and introduced them to each other. "Mr. Kwon" she began and earned a frown from him but she continued anyway because she does not know how to address him yet. "This is my uncle Mr. Yung Guk. Uncle this is Kwon Jiyong my husband." Dara and Yung Guk talked about introducing him as his uncle rather than her adopted dad to have people get least suspicious of them.
Jiyong studied the old man to see his reaction but did not get any. He felt that there's more to this man than meets the eye.
But Yung Guk recovered fast. "Mr. Kwon. It is very nice to meet you. I hope that you will take good care of my niece as I am handing her over to your care." Jiyong still feeling something odd ignored it for the time being.
"Yes sir. You can definitely count on me to take care of your niece." Jiyong said confidently.
