Chapter 53

Sana opens her eyes with the light flooding into the room from the window. She turns to her side to find Sid dozing off with his head on his hand. He is still holding her hand in his other hand. He hadn't left it from the time he had entered the room. Her whole body is in severe pain but she smiles. She is happy as she has her Bebu beside her. She thinks about how lucky she is to have ultimately found true love. She in her life had every luxury in the world to ask for. A comfortable big house, a room sized wardrobe full of branded and expensive clothes and accessories, a number of expensive cars, holidays in foreign places, dinner at five stars, everything one can dream of. But what she really lacked was someone who loved her unconditionally. Today all those luxuries mean nothing to her. Sidharth is  the most expensive gift she could ever ask for. Even after everything he went through because of her stupidity, he loves her today from the bottom of his heart. She thinks,'How much love does this man have in his heart?' She secretly thanks her Waheguru for giving him to her. She starts thinking about how much things have changed in their lives. There was the time when he had left her waiting in her car and he had returned home with his family on the day of their marriage. And today is the day he hasn't left her, holding her hand out of fear of losing her. The journey that started with his hate, his disgust when she merely touched him has reached to a point that he can't get enough of her hugs and kisses. Unknowingly, a chuckle escapes from her mouth and Sid opens his eyes. He asks,"Are you alright? Hun?" Sana says,"Hmm..Utha diya, bebu ko?" Sid running his fingers through his hair says,"I didn't know kab ankh lag gayi thi. Let me check when the doctor will arrive." Sana, not leaving his hand as he gets up, says,"Sidharth, Ghar jana hai.." Sid smiles and coming closer, kisses her cheek and says,"Hmm..Jayenge.. let the doctor come."

Jaanvi comes after sometime and says hi to Sana. She asks," Abb kaisa lag raha hai?" Sana smiles and says,"Yaar sarr phat raha hai..like literally it feels like someone is striking hammers inside and my body feels as if I am run over by a bulldozer..But please mere sadu ko mat batana..He will get scared and keep me here. He will sit here all day and night holding my hand." Jaanvi smiles as she says,"He was really scared for you. He loves you so much." Sana, blushing a bit, says,"Hmm.. Main bhi usse bahut jada pyar karti hun...Waise..What's going on between you and Rohan?" Jaanvi blushes and says,"Nothing. We have become good friends. That's all. By the way mummy wanted to come but I convinced her to stay back saying  you will return today." Sana with a smile says,"Kya ladki hai? Topic change kar di but I am not leaving so easily. Just friends is not enough, think more. Rohan is a good guy, very down to earth even being a superstar. I will be happy for both of you if you both think about each other. Ok and regarding Maa, acha ki you didn't bring her here. I 'll go back home today. What about Shini?" Jaanvi becomes serious,"I really don't get her. She seems worried for you but she is behaving.. differently... " Sana says," I don't know what will happen. Sidharth is already hurt with everything. I can't let him suffer anymore." Sid enters the room and the girls become quiet. He says,"Hey Jaan! Kab ayi?" Jaanvi replies to him that she arrived few minutes ago. Sid informs them that the Doctor will arrive sometime later and after check up, he will discharge Sana.

Mamaji and Rinky arrive at the hospital after the doctor leaves the room checking Sana. He comes inside the room, goes near Sana's bed. Sid nods his head at Rinky but doesn't say anything to Mamaji. Rinky puts her hand on her face and asks," Di aap thik ho? I was not in the house yesterday otherwise I.." Sana says,"Yes I know my sweety. You would have jumped and saved me from falling down. My saviour!" Mamaji says,"Putar menu maaf karde. Mere karan uss khote da yeh haal bangaya hai." Sid says,"Kaash yeh baat aap pehle samjh pate." Mamaji turning towards him says,"I am really sorry Sidharth. But please forgive Bunty. I will make sure he doesn't do anything wrong in future." Sid smiles and says," O toh aap yahan Bunty ko bachane ayein hain. And I thought you had come to see your only niece. How cheap can you all become? You all are enjoying all the privileges out of Sana's money but you don't care a bit for her." After a pause he says,"I have already complained against him at the police station. They will come to take Sana's statement today. I will make sure he gets what he deserves." Mamaji's eyes grow big as he says to Sana,"Putar tusi apne bhai nu arrest karna chahundi hai?( You want to get your brother arrested?)" Sid answers for her,"Sana will not say anything today. She will do as I say." Sana looks at him with a request in her eyes but stays silent. Mamaji says," Thik hai..Bunty deserves that, let him go to jail. But I have one request, let me take Sana putar with me. She will be comfortable in her house." Sid looks at Sana and asks,"Sana, will you be comfortable in your big house or in my modest home?" Sana says,"Mamaji, my home is where Sidharth lives. I will be comfortable only with him." Mamaji puts his hand on her head and leaves the room, followed by Rinky who kisses her cheek before going. Sana says," Do you really think we should get Bunty bhaiya arrested?" Sid looks at her and says,"Did you ask him that when he had me arrested for no reason? No na. So why are you asking me now? What he has done now, needs punishment. How dare he hurt you! And he is going after my family too. How dare he! Sana, give the statement when the police come."
