Chapter 52

Sid is sitting quietly on the cold bench of the hospital with his head down on his hands. There are no emotions running now, his face devoid of any expression. All his life, he has only lost but he can't lose anymore. But suddenly a fear grips his heart, what if he does lose again. What if his fate again forces him to kneel in front of him. What if his biggest nightmare comes true. No he won't survive this. He had lately learnt to be happy for himself but suddenly all he can see is darkness in front of his eyes. A hand on his shoulder, brings him back from the depths of his thoughts. He raises his head as Jaanvi sitting beside him says,"Doctor is here." Sidharth looks up to find a middle aged man in scrubs coming towards him. He immediately stands up, waiting with baited breath, fearing for the worst. The doctor, putting his hand on his shoulder says,"There is nothing to worry about. She is all right. But she needs enough rest for few days. " Sidharth cannot believe what he has just heard. He asks,"She is all right. That's what you said. I mean, she is fine. Right. You said that right. She.." The doctor says,"Mr.Sidharth relax. She is absolutely fine. We are keeping her for observation tonight as she had fainted. There are no broken bones, nothing serious. Just few stitches. You can take her home tomorrow." Jaanvi says,"Can we meet her doctor?" The doctor says,"Ofcourse. She is awake. Go inside. But don't stress her. Let her rest." Sidharth nods his head as he and Jaanvi goes inside the room, from where the doctor had come. Opening the door, they find her lying on the bed. Jaanvi coming closer to the bed says,"How are you feeling now Sana?" Sana opens her eyes and smiles meekly and says,"Hmm..Jaanvi please call.. everyone, Mamaji also..and tell them I am all right.." Jaanvi says,"I will. You don't worry. Take rest." Jaanvi smiles and turns to go out of the room. She looks at Sid as she goes out of the room.

Sid keeps standing at the door, looking at his Sana. He is unable to go inside, sit beside her. He is scared that he will break down before her. He can't be vulnerable now when she needs him. Sana looks at him and says," Hey Handsome Shayer!...Are you going to...stand there all night?" Sid shakes his head but doesn't move. Sana extends her hand and Sid slowly moves towards her. He coming close, takes her hand into his. Sana whispers,"Kya sadu sa sakal banaya hai? Kissy nahi karni?" Sid shakes his head but doesn't say anything. Sana looks at him and says,"What happened? I am alive, mar thodi.." Sid puts his hand on her lips and says,"Just shut up..Bahut bolti ho..bahut jyada..just.." Sana smiles as Sid sits down on the stool and puts his head on her hand, hiding his face. Sana running her fingers through his hair says,"Bebu..I am alright..Relax.." Sid whispers,"I can't lose you baby..I just found happiness, I just found you. I am tired of fighting my fate.." Sana says,"I had said na tum agar dhake dekar bhi nikalo ge main nahi jaungi...I mean that..I am obsessed with you and that's a fact..I.. am not going anywhere.." Sid says,"I love you baby..I love you.." Sana says,"Not like this..You know what I want.." Sid raises his head and Sana finds his eyes red with tears. She signals him to come closer. Sid comes closer and Sana shows her cheek. Sid kisses her cheek and she says,"Abhi only baby kisses hai, no baap of it.." Sid smiles and says, "I don't need any kisses from you. Bas tum mere saath raho. I need you." Sana says,"Liar..I know you love..my lips..more than me.. And I love your poems more than..no I equally love you and your poems. So..be a good boy and bolo." Sid sits down and holding her hand says,"Sana, please..not now..I can't.." Sana puts her lower lips out and says,"Doctor has said no stress..poems relax me..You don't want that..fine.." Sid says," I can't Sana..I.." Sana turns her face on the other side saying,"You don't love me..I know.."After a minute, she hears,
