Kai didn't know how he got himself into this. He was horrible with animals, and their names. However Nya thought it was a great idea for them both to go on the school field trip. He was going to make a lot of mistakes today.

"Come on Kai, let's go!" Nya's excited voice rang through his ears. She ran ahead with the group. Kai reluctantly ran behind, trying to keep up with her.

They explored the farm together, enjoying the sights. Kai was starting to like it.

Nya knew of his issues with remembering animals, and helped point them out to him, however when it got to the ducks, the godforsaken ducks, that were occupying a large field nearby, he felt confident, in front of his classmates, to say..

"Look at all those chickens!"

He looked around, feeling proud of himself, until he saw his sister's face. He knew he had messed up. The other children started laughing at him, and his misfortune. Kai ran away upset.

It took a few minutes for Nya to locate him, but she found him hiding behind a wall, sitting down back against the wall with his knees up against him, crying. Nya felt bad.

She walked up to him, and sat down next to him, he looked up, before burying himself in himself again. Nya pulled him into a side hug, comforting him. Kai leaned onto her shoulder, calming himself down.

"Come on it wasn't that bad!" Nya attempted to comfort him.

"I humiliated myself in front of the others." Kai cried softly. Nya started rubbing small circles on his back to sooth him. And it worked. Kai slowly calmed down.

"You didn'- Might of done, but don't worry, we will all forget about this soon enough, and just don't take any notice of them." She reassured him. Kai gave her a smile.

"You're right." was all he said.

They eventually went back to the rest of the group, and even though the others laughed at him, he just didn't care.

"And that was the tale!"

Nya had been telling the others about the story, and Kai had his head in his hands.

"I thought we were never going to tell them that tale, sis." Kai groaned out.

"No promises!" She replied back with a wink.

And although more people were laughing at it, he knew they were not being spiteful, and all these years on he could find the funny side of it as well. So he joined them as well, laughing about that time.
