Finally In Paradise

Where Friends Become Lovers

It was a normal day at the Leaf Village, lots of piles of paper I had to look at and sending the ninja on missions.

*knock, knock*

I looked up at the door.
"Come in" I said.

"HEYYY TSUNADEEE, HOW YA BEEN"

It was Jiraiya I was so surprised. "Jiraiya?!"

"Duhh who else."

"Oh, you're back from your mission. How'd it go, did you complete it?" I said.

"Yes, I did I got some information out of them, and they're soon planning to attack the Village."

"Well of course you finished your mission." I said.
"Did you write notes in what they were planning to do?"

"Yes I did." Said Jiraiya.

*passes the notes*

"Oh my, call a meeting we have to discuss all of this and plan on what we are going to do."

*Jiraiya nods*

After our talk, I started thinking about what the notes said. They were planning on destroying the village where I grew up in. They chose me as Hokage I should do something about this .

*time passes*

*knock, knock*

"Yes, come in" I said.

It was Jiraiya again.

"Yes, did you get everything set up?"

"Yes I did, I came to pick you up so we can walk together" said Jiraiya.

I felt my face turn a little red.

"Alright" I said and got up to walk with Jiraiya.

On our way there we just talked about a few thing of when we were younger and planned on catching up after the meeting. It felt nice talking to someone I've known for so long.

*after the meeting*

"Soooo Tsunade" said Jiraiya.

I looked up at him to listen to what he wanted to say.

"Are we still going to catch up or do you want to go back to doing your paper work?"

I thought for a while and finally replied.

"Let's catch up" I said.

We walked together to Ichiraku Ramen and ate. He paid because I made him! Haha, he still listens to me like always. We talked about how are lives are going and finally we finished eating and went to take a walk.

I glanced over at Jiraiya and he looked like he wanted to say something.

"Jiraiya?" I said.

He flinched and then looked at me.

"Do you want to say something" I said.

"Uh-uh, a-actually I do." He said.

We stopped walking so he can say something.

"Tsunade we've known each other for so long, and I think that I'm in love with you. Please accept my feelings Tsunade."

I was so surprised with the words he just said. I didn't know what to say. With my past experiences I don't want a lover . Everyone I care about ends up dying it's like a curse!

"Jiraiya" I said in a serious voice.

"You know what has happened in the past. Everyone I love ends up dying and I don't want that to happen with you. You are one of the people that are still in my life and I just can't lose you."

Jiraiya was silent for a moment.

"Tsunade I know your past, and trust me nothing will happen to me. C'mon you know me I'm The Great Jiraiya." He said smiling.

I couldn't help but laugh.

"HAHAHAHA, oh Jiraiya you haven't changed a bit."

Then I got serious again.

"If I give you a chance, promise me you won't leave and protect yourself all the time?" I looked back at him.

"I promise" he said smiling.

After that, he walked me back to the building.

"Thank you" I said while walking in the building.

"Wait, Tsunade!!"

I turned back , but already felt a warmth against my body. My face instantly turned red like a tomato.

"Goodnight, my sweet Tsunade."

"G-goodnight, go now you're so embarrassing!"
I said while storming into the building.

I could hear him chuckling outside and I just smiled on the way to my room. This relationship doesn't seem as bad as I thought it would be.
