Chapter 14

About a month had passed since Xola had taken on the responsibilities of being a god, which mostly consisted of answering random questions people should be able to figure out for themselves. However, she enjoyed every single second of it and Lilith and Falos could see that she was having a great time. Xola still remained at Liliths castle in her room from the trials which was fine with the both of them since again the place was huge. Most days Xola found Lilith in her garden either nurturing her plants or just enjoying the sun like today.

"Hey Lilith what are you up to"?

Lilith turned to look at her young friend, "I'm sure you can guess that yourself Xola", she said as she began to laugh.

"Im just enjoying the day as always, how about you?"

Xola shrugged and answered, "It's just another typical sunny day to be honest".

Lilith nodded and stared quizzically at Xola and asked, "You still haven't figured out any of your powers have you"?

Xola went wide eyed and nodded in defeat, "When you said it would take some time I thought you meant like a week not however long this is gonna take".

Lilith spoke again quickly, "Well what about your dragon, Malcolm has he figured anything out about what he can do yet". Xola didn't even want to talk about her dragon because he was figuring out everything he could do and was leaving her in the dust. "He has figured out a lot of stuff now that you mention it".

"Well what has he learned so far?"

Xola began immediately, "Well since he grew exponentially he's much faster than before but he can control the wind so that it boosts him even more and he can cause huge gusts of winds just by flapping his wings once".

Lilith smiled at the girl,"Maybe you should try learning from him, he took on wind attributes from what it sounds like try doing something like that or just go ask Falos for help. I know he isn't doing much aside from hanging out with Dorin and Danae".

Xola looked at Lilith confused, "Who the hell Dorin?"

Lilith looked at the girl and realized she still hasn't been to Falos' home to meet the boy, "Youll find out once you get there. If your dragon is as fast as you say he is then it shouldn't take long at all just head in the direction the sun sets and you will be fine". Xola walked up to Lilith and hugged her quickly before calling for Malcolm who swiftly picked her up and disappeared.

"That girl is a weird one but i'm sure everything will sort itself out in time", she said to herself as she continued to enjoy her garden.

Xola was quietly enjoying being able to ride Malcolm now that he had become bigger and he seemed to enjoy it as well, "You figure out anything new today Malcolm"? To which she got a reply of a grunt from him, "Guess not, well maybe you'll teach me something when you're ready".They continued to fly for another five minutes before she saw an island appear on the horizon, "That's gotta be where it is let's go"!

She landed on the pathway leading to the front door, "He just had to have his house on an island didn't he" she laughed as she knocked at the door which quickly swung open and a boy as standing there, I don't think Falos ever mentioned having a kid, this must be the boy Lilith was talking about, "Hi, i'm looking for Falos is he here he's a friend of mine?"

The boy looked at her a moment and said, "Yes he's here follow me". He pushed the door open fully to let both of them in and closed it behind them as she continued to follow the boy.

"So whats your name kid?"

Without turning around he said, "My name is Dorin what's yours?"
