There was a list, a short list of what I could do. I tapped my pencil against the form in my hand.
Work at the enterprise store. Nah.
Opera? Nah.
Community Service? Maybe later.
I scanned through everything on the golden laminated print, the large, bold words saying 'CCA: Co-curruculur activities', and the rest below were small. Unlike my previous schools - which did not include private lessons in the tour buses- there was not much choices to go around.
I sighed.
I had noticed that this school only focused on show business, not including the basic education like math and general science. Avril told me the reason the school even did CCA was because the school was required to provide students with basic learning and extra skills besides the arts and have a another platform to branch out for a balanced education. After all, this was counted a 'real' school. Thus this. Not that i'm conplaining.
Stunt actor... Next.
My eyes across the paper to find something that interested me.
Sports section:
Volleyball..
Track and Field..
Soccer..
My eyes widened at the realization that there was soccer. I pumped my fist to to air in success. I grinned to myself. I think I can do that. Who says pushing things to the late minute is horrible.
"You're embarassing me." Avril grumbles from behind me. I put down my hand. I didn't get why she said that though.. the halls were empty. I turned to face her, not saying a word. Total blankness. She looks into my eyes, then in typical fashion, rolls them at me. I grinned. She checks her watch. "And you have 5 minutes left to submit the paper."
What?! No way.
She showed my her pink watch. Way. It said 8.55pm. The administrative office, I have come to know from my punk rock tour guide, closed at 9. I cursed. The office was in the other block!
Avril told me if I didn't submit it by today, the school would give me a default CCA. School cleaning.
"We can help you!" Two high-pitched voices giggled out of nowhere. My head snapped to the sound as I jumped a little. Two blonde girls rushed to us, standing in front of me. The two girls had practically came out of no where.
Well, they came out from a dark corner but still. I was surprised at them wanting to help me at this hour. Not forgetting them stalking me of course. So.. don't blame me if I questioned their motives. I didn't even know who they were.
"We're on track and field."
They grin optimistically despite my raised eyebrow.
"We're super fast."
They were twins, from what I could see. Cool. But still. Double trouble.
"I'm not so sure about-"
Avril quickly presses against my back, her hand over my mouth. She laughs awkwardly. "What he meant to say was, he wasn't so sure what he was going to give you in return thanks to you two."
My eyes widened.
"OH MY GOD." They squealed as they looked to either other then to the both of us. "CAN WE TAKE A PHOTO OF BOTH OF YOU TOGETHER?!"
"That didn't stop you before." She winks at them, smiling and they giggle at that. My heart skips a single beat for some reason. Why was she being so nice to them?
