Jongin's hand glided up and down Kyungsoo's chest.
They'd been in bed for too many hours to count. Most of the time there was complete silence, save for the occasional moan. And usually, with Jongin's naughty hands, the moans were coming from Kyungsoo's lips.
Kyungsoo couldn't even begin to comprehend how quickly he'd gotten here. How many times had he dreamed of Jongin's bare body beside his in bed? More times than there were seconds in a day.
Everything was perfect in spite of his situation at school. But then again, it wouldn't bother him if he didn't let it bother him. And since Kyungsoo couldn't give a shit at this point, yes, everything was indeed flawless.
Jongin's fingers laced with his own. He planted kisses on Kyungsoo's chest that trailed up over his neck and finally stopped at his lips. Kyungsoo smiled up at him.
Jongin returned it with a crooked smile of his own. "You look happy."
"I am happy," Kyungsoo sighed.
"Because of me, right?" Jongin chuckled.
Kyungsoo rolled his eyes. "No. Because of the ceiling."
Jongin looked up at it. "Damn. I wish I was that ceiling then."
The older cupped Jongin's cheek, drawing his attention back to him. Jongin reached up and placed his hand over Kyungsoo's, eyes twinkling with something Kyungsoo couldn't recall ever seeing in them before.
"You're a fool," he told Jongin.
"And you're not? You're here with me, aren't you?"
Kyungsoo laughed. "You make it sound like we're a couple made in hell."
"Maybe we are."
Jongin leaned down and kissed him. It was more than just a precursor to sex, or a way for Jongin to vent out his sexual frustrations. It meant something. It was entirely new. Kyungsoo actually had no idea what it was.
This was eons from the usual kisses Jongin gave him. Too gentle and too sweet. Kyungsoo's breathing got stuck in his throat as his lips moved slowly, smoothly against Jongin's.
The younger pulled away with his eyes closed. Kyungsoo stared up at him, mouth open to emit soft breaths. Jongin opened one eye and began chuckling.
"What's so funny?" Kyungsoo cocked his head to the side.
"Nothing." Jongin rolled over to lay beside him on his back. "Say, Egghead... how do you feel about road trips?"
"I'm not going anywhere with you," Kyungsoo replied.
"Why not?"
"Because I have a ton of shit to clear up at school," Kyungsoo mumbled, sitting up. "How do you handle bastards, Jongin?"
The younger man sat up as well, leaning back on his hands. "Depends. If someone hurt you, Egghead, tell me. I'll take care of them for you."
"I already told you I don't want you to," Kyungsoo said. "It's weird. My grades are screwed up. My reputation has so many blemishes on it it's humiliating. And yet, I don't care."
Jongin buried his face in Kyungsoo's neck and sighed onto the older's skin. "Whatever matters to you is what you should focus on. Maybe you never liked school. Maybe you just flourished from the attention you got from being president."
Kyungsoo considered the statement. Perhaps Jongin was right. School had always come naturally to him before. Stuff that's easy for people is usually their favorite thing to do. Maybe that's why school had been his favorite experience before.
