I freeze for a second

"I..it's fine , h...he is just clumsy" I say

"Oh...ok" She says as she walks behind me on the stairs and I see tommy on the couch and he is watching Tv

"Alwex?" Tommy says as I walk over

"Yeah Bud?"

"I hungrwy" Tommy says , looking up at me

Damit, I think , we don't have a lot of food

"U..Um sure, I'll see what we have" I say while walking to the kitchen and I go to the Cubbord , and I realise we don't have any food left that he can eat
"Oh..We need to go to the Store later"

"Oh okie" Tommy says and looks sad, and I instantly feel horrible

"We could go now if you want, I have no where to be for ages , and going to the store is fun" Rebecca smiles and looks at me

"I..oh ok, I..I guess we can go"I say as I look at tommy and He jumps up

"Yay" he shouts as he is jumping up

"I'll go get your jacket" I say As I quickly get it , and I put it on him , I also put his shoes on an I put mine on , they are dirty, old and Basically Fully broken, but I can't buy new ones , or ever Second hand ones

Rebecca stands by the door , typing on her Phone until I finish and I Go to the kitchen, open the Corner Cabinet and reach as far as I can back? And I pull out $7

Damit I think to myself, I need to buy food for the week, and diapers for Tommy, and have money incase We need it , I have no idea how I could do that, my dad must have found it and took it for himself

I put the money in my Pocket and I walk to the front door , I make sure I have everything and we all step outside and I start walking , Rebecca looks a Little confused

"I thought we were gonna drive?" She says

"But the store is only 10 minutes away" I say in confusion and Tommy Grabs Rebecca's Hand

"Oh, ok?" She says and we start walking , them 2 following behind me

After 10 minutes of Tommy and Rebecca talking. (aka Tommy talking while Rebecca listens and Asks him questions) we get to the store, it's Small , and Pretty rundown, but it's close and It has everything I need , obviously I can't afford everything, but it's there if I can

"Oh , I've never seen this store before" Rebecca says a we walk up to it , I walk inside and Tommy runs to me and stays close

I have to keep reminding myself about The amount of money that I have

I see some diapers , and I Realise they are on sale and I grab them , and sigh in refleif as I pick them up

, I then walk to the sale section

"Oh, you got Diapers?" Rebecca says , holding some things we picked up from around the store , and I nod

"They're for Tommy.." I say to her and she nod, and grabs a Drink, I find is so weird how she isn't checking the prices

I keep making sure I can buy the diapers, I only have about $4 left now, I get some Cheap Pasta, it's always $0.50 here for w Pack since it's shit food, but my dad likes it, Tommy likes it and it's easy for me to cook, I pick up 4 packs , 2 dollars left , I normally wouldn't get that many Pasta , but we ran out, I know this because my dad bashed my head into to the Kitchen side , it was very hard to clean all the blood up , especially with a Bleeding head, and my dad Kicking me down occasionally and spitting on me

After I get Some Milk for Tommy , I know he isn't a Baby, but sometimes he needs it to clam down or did good at nursery, I then go up and pay, and Only just mange to pay for it , and There is $0.56 and I realise I could probably get tommy some Candy , he didn't have it often , but he's been rlly good this week, and I just feel bad that I'm not good

"Wait here Bud" I say just before we leave , I quickly Grab Tommy's Favourite (and the only ones I can afford)  jelly beans , they are cheap and not a "name Brand" but he liked them

I walk back to the cashier and I see outside that Rebecca and Tommy are talking again , i Put the Candy on the Checkout , and the Man, who is Sadly one of my Dads friends, Alllll of my dads friends beat me up when they want , demand I pleasure them , or force me to

He smirks "$5....."

"What? But on the Shelf they are $0.50?!" I say

"I don't give a fuck what they shelf says , actually $10 , or you're gonna , repay me, and you know what I mean, and your dad maybe won't find , just do why I say faggot". he says , and I nod

In sigh And I nod ,
"F..fine"

He smirks and I go start walking to the back with him
