Chapter 14

Chapter 14- The Bad News

Narrator's pov

When Glinda pushed Dorothy into the mirror a flash of white light sparkled into her when she was pushed into the mirror. When Dorothy open her eyes she saw a bright light, she groaned into the bright light, she turn to another direction but when she turn she realize that she was in a hospital

She removed her blanket to see that she's no longer wearing her dress in the ball, she's wearing a hospital gown, she lool around then look down under of her bed she saw Toto sleeping. She woke Toto up, Dorothy smiled then grab him and carry him then place him onto her lap, he barked so happily which make Dorothy giggled

Dorothy: " welp... I think that mirror that Glinda push me really worked "

But then she still remember what Glinda said to her, that:

Glinda " Dorothy listen, this mirror will bring you home but please return immediately, go through the mirror of your room in Kansas and return here quickly "

Dorothy: " Toto, we have to return to Oz quickly but...this is very difficult if your in a hospital "

Just then, a nurse enter the room caught Dorothy and Toto's attention, the nurse was accompanied with a doctor they both had the same upset look in there faces, then the doctor spoke:

Doctor: " are you Dorothy Gale, correct? "

Dorothy: " yes, that's me "

Doctor: " we checked you to see if you got injured or what is it but I think you are ready to go but... "

Dorothy: " but what? "

Doctor: " we bring you this very bad news for you... Ms. Gale... your aunt and uncle are dead "

Dorothy gasp and shock at the bad news of what she had heard, Toto even whimpered at the news too

Dorothy: " *gasp* what... what happened? "

Doctor: " well, your aunt and uncle were looking for you for like 5 hours because you went missing this worries them alot but they got hit by another car while finding you and they both died due to car accident... I'm terribly sorry for this news Ms. Gale but you are ready to leave this place "

Dorothy cried so painfully, in the end she did leave the hospital then return home in Kansas in the barn, her boss to her work decided to have her some day-off so that way she can grief her love ones and recovered when it was over

She went to her room, she sat on her bed with an upset look on her face, the people she cared, loved, and worried about are gone and dead and she was left behind. She saw a letter on her night stand, she picked the note then started reading it but she realize it was a note that she had read before she leave the real world and going to the Land Of Oz

It was still the same the papers were wrinkled and the hand writing of the Scarecrow but a flash had light up her mood... maybe... she needs to return to Oz and once this whole madness is over she stay there in Oz along with her friends and families

Dorothy wipe her tears and said to Toto:

Dorothy: " c'mon Toto, we've got to save Oz and... stay there forever "

She packed her things and dress up, she picked up Toto and spotted her mirror she went there without hesitation

Dorothy: ' don't worry guys... I'm coming "
