Chapter 16- Preperation Of War

Narrator's pov

Dorothy woke up at dawn, she was woken up by a maid name Izzy a servant and a maid to Glinda, she told to Dorothy that she needs to get up and prepare for the war which was today. Izzy even gave her a clothes for the war (which was at top the picture you see there)

She look into the mirror it fit perfectly for her but still worries that this is actually happening right before her very eyes, but she har no choice but to let it happened because the decision has been made the choices are already taken and it is time to do it, she grab Toto and started following her

She met Glinda who is talking to one of the generals of the army, when they left Glinda turns around and saw Dorothy already dressed up for battle she smiled at her then went towards her then she ask:

Glinda: " good morning Dorothy, I'm terribly sorry that I woke you up at dawn "

Dorothy: " it's alright, now... let's finish this once and for all "

Glinda: " *smiles* that's the spirit "

General: " you highness, the carriege has been arrived "

Glinda: " we'll be there... *looks to Dorothy* come now Dorothy, we are gling to the Emerald City "

Dorothy and Glinda exit at the castle, then they ride into the carriege that had arrived. They were seating face to face it was silence all over the whole area until Glinda broke it:

Glinda: " Dorothy, I heard of what you said to Scarecrow that night... that night in the ball "

Dorothy: " you were there? "

Glinda: " yes, I'm not impress of what you said to him... you see Dorothy, for all those years that you were gone and he had Shadow in his side his life was tormented when Violla came in and becomes the ruler of the West area. While you were gone he tried everything to removed him and get back to where he was belong but... it was no use "

Dorothy: " is he... risking his life for this? "

Glinda: "  of course, in fact: I've been watching you in Kansas all those years now and the stories that you read were the reference to them "

Dorothy gasp to what Glinda said to her

Glinda: " but when you shouted to the Scarecrow, I was shocked that you broke him into pieces "

Dorothy: " what happened to him? "

Glinda: " today, he is still working and continue to what he is doing but- "

Rider of the carriege: " you highness, we've arrived in to the Emerald City "

Glinda: " alright, come now Dorothy, the others might be waiting for us "

They both get out of the carriege, when they were inside of the Emerald City it looks lkke they were preparing for the war, because they are tons of soldiers who were preparing there weapons, sharpening there swords and etc.

They went into the Chamber room where she saw her friends were on a battle gears

Marshall Mallow:

China Princess:

(As for Tin man, Lion, and Wiser I didn't gave them for some personal reason)

Lion: " good morning Dorothy "

Dorothy: " good morning to you all "

Glinda: " is everyone ready? "

Dorothy: " wait... where's the Scarecrow? "

Scarecrow: " I'm here "

They all turn around to see Scarecrow carrying something in his hand

Scarecrow:

Tin man: " oh... right on time "

Scarecrow: " Dorothy here, you need this for the battle "

Scarecrow gave Dorothy a weapon for her to fight in the battle, but when she look at the Scarecrow he look like an another person nor a creature he gave her an emotionless look on her which scared her and think that he wasn't the Scarecrow that she knew

Dorothy's weapon:

Dorothy: " Scarecrow I- "

Scarecrow: " now, we must hurry... we don't want that old hag keep us waiting any longer "
