Epilouge- There's Sometimes A Happy Ending

Narrator's pov

It's been years since Dorothy stayed in the Land of Oz, she has a strong connection with the Scarecrow. Everytime Scarecrow felt upset or in pain she always finds a way to give him a smile on his face and wipe away his tears

Her friends were doing fine, she decided to stay in the Emerald City instead of building her own home, she decided to stay with Scarecrow to give him some company to his duties

She usually explore the parts, towns, and lands in Oz because she was still confused about it and wanted to explore and try it out

She just turn 29th years old to her birthday, at first, for her she know that her friends were busy and they don't even know her birthday was today so she decided to have a walk on the munchkin land just to celebrate her birthday alone

Everyone in munchkin land greeted her and gave her some respects some of the children were giving her flowers, chocolate, and other stuff. Scrap even gave her a necklace with a shape of a heart

When it was night and the sun is going down, she went back to the Emerald City so quickly. She open the front door but when she enters the Emerald City... it was quiet... she look around and saw there's a green and blue light, she walk through the lights that are lit and had a feeling that she should follow the lights that are lit

She followed the lights and when she stops she face the two doors of the Chamber room, she gulped then open the door, when she enters the Chamber room she saw nothing but darkness then she open her mouth and said:

Dorothy: " hello? "

All of a suddden, the lights were on as everyone yelled a:

All: " SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOROTHY!!!! "

She jumped in fear as she was yelled a greeting but then... she was so shock and confused at the same time that they know her own birthday so she ask them:

Dorothy: " how did you guys know it was my birthday today? "

Scarecrow: " *chuckle* I coud hear you and Toto talking about your birthday and that you are turning 29 years old "

Lion: " so... happy birthday, Dorothy "

Dorothy cried in joy as she approuch her friends to hug them which they hug her back, they enjoy there foods laughing, and having fun

But when the party is over Scarecrow called her telling her that they needed to talk in private. Dorothy followed him in the balcony of the Emerald City when they make it there Dorothy then ask him:

Dorothy: " so... why are we here? "

Scarecrow: " there's something that I meaning to ask you about "

Dorothy: " what is it? "

Scarecrow: " you know, when you were not here in Oz I felt a feeling that I never felt before... it was, emptyness, hollow, and... and numb at the same time. But when you were here I felt a color that had painted on this area of this world and I felt happy, complete, and... and I never felt those negative feelings... since we've been together for almost a year now I'm asking a real question that I wanted to tell you but I was so afraid to ask you about this "

Dorothy: " what is it? "

Scarecrow: " knock, knock? "

Dorothy: " really? Scarecrow? "

Scarecrow: " c-c'mon, you lucky that I still had more time before Shadow took over "

Dorothy: " alright... who's there? "

Scarecrow: " will "

Dorothy: " will who? "

Dorothy: " Dorothy Gale will... "

Scarecrow grab quickly something on his pocket then grab Dorothy's hand, he then bend down on her and slid something on her fingers then he let go of Dorothy's hand to reveal a... ring then he ask her:

Scacrecrow: " will you marry you? "

Dorothy was so shock about this question then she ask him again:

Dorothy: " Scarecrow, knock, knock "

Scarecrow: " wh-who's there? "

Dorothy: " why "

Scarecrow: " why who? "

Dorothy: " why... why Y-E-S... YES!!! "

She then hugged him into excitement but then she heard a crying sound coming from the Scarecrow she then look to the Scarecrow which he was crying, she ask him:

Dorothy: " Scarecrow what's wrong? "

Scarecrow: " sweet Oz... I was so scared I thought your gonna say 'no' "

Dorothy: " what??? No way I would never say 'no' to that face of your's "

They both each other, Scarecrow kissed Dorothy's forehead then Dorothy said:

Dorothy: " I love you, Scarecrow "

Scarecrow: " I love you too... sweetheart "
