'"He will be fine. right?"

I looked at my sister with worry. Enola just looked at me, not wanting to lie. "Sure?" Enola said in a questioning tone.

"Let's go and find proper attire. Shall we?" She continued. As we were walking around town, Enola acted like she has never seen civilization. "Mother didn't prepare me for this." She told me.

Mhm. Interesting.

"Ah, but our brothers did." I put my hand on Enola's shoulder.

Sometimes I really feel bad for Enola. We all grew up away from each other. That shouldn't have happened. "Where are we heading?" I asked Enola since she hadn't  told me her plan yet.

Enola thought for a moment. A million words running through her head. "We must become something unexpected." She said, looking at me knowingly.

As we walked, we coincidentally stumbled upon a dress shop. "Perfect." I told my sister, before heading inside the shop. Enola and I browsed through all the dresses peacefully before being interrupted the saleswoman working in the shop.

She walked in with food in her hands, looking at us intensely. The woman looked up and down before telling us, "And what do two boys like you both want with those?"

Enola and I looked at each other before grabbed the dresses we desire and look at the woman, dead serious. "We shall need a whalebone corset." Enola told her. "You both shall need no such thing. this is a respectable shop." The woman spat out.

"Then we shall respect it." I told her calmly.

"You don't look like you will. You don't smell like you will. And I--" The woman continued to disrespect us.

Oh I know she didn't just say that.

But the woman suddenly gasped when she saw Enola  pull out loads of money from her pocket.

"But we shall pay like we will." I smirked at the woman. Serves her right. As I say, never judge a book by its cover.

"Do you have anywhere we can dress?" Enola looked up at her. The woman just slowly pointed behind her and said, "In the back" very slowly.

After we got dressed, both of us walk out like totally different people. "You look stunning." I told Enola, smiling with joy. "As do you." Enola said back, with the same smile and tone.

I can't wait to see the look on this lady's face.

"Now, where might we find a lodging house?" Enola asks the woman as she puts away the money. The woman gasps in shock. "We'll pay handsomely for good value." I told her.

The woman, leaded us into a loud, packed, old lodging house, saying it was the best value. Didn't look like it though...

There were babies crying, people arguing, and loud noises left and right. The woman then led us towards, two small, dusty, rooms across from each other. The rooms looked painfully similar to each other.

Enola and I looked at each other before nervously chuckling. "It really is lovely." I nervously said as a rat walks over my feet. "You weren't lying when you said best value." Enola nervously chuckles while a train passes by.

I went into my own room to settle in and Enola did the same. I decided it was a good time to take a nap but didn't wake up until dark. It was my fault, I probably should've taken better care of myself.

Over the days, Enola and I went to many places to look for any clues about our Mother. we checked everywhere that Enola thought might interest our Mother. She knows more about our mother so I trust her with this.
