Every time it's Groundhog Day
I woke up to someone quietly singing this song, but all I say was darkness. I tried reaching around, but my hands were tied up. I heard sniffling as if someone was crying.
"Hello?!" I cried out, hoping to get a response.
"K-Kristen? Is that you....the real you?" I heard Riker's voice.
"Yes...I think so. Were you singing that song earlier?"
"Uh yeah, I made it when you left. Before I got with Sophie." Riker explained.
"Riker, where......where are we? Why are we tied up?" I asked starting to get scared.
"I honestly don't know. All I remember is seeing your dad at the front door and I tried getting us away, but next thing I know everything goes black." Riker got interrupted by the sound of screeching as a heavy metal door is being opened.
The light from outside of the room, filled the room. I saw that Riker and I were in some type of huge freezer, but why didn't I feel the cold? It was probably one of the symptoms of a vampire. I looked across the room to see Riker with a black eye and bloody lip.
"Riker!" I screamed, trying to get out the tightening grasp of the rope that was tied behind me.
A man walked into the room and looked at me. "Ahh Kristen, so beautiful just like your mom. Except for the red eyes and sharp teeth along with your unbeating heart. But of course, as of now, hers isn't beating either. Do you remember me?"
The only thing that I could remember of him was his video and all the stories I heard from Elisa. "What do you want? Leave us alone!!!"
He shook his head and laughed, "Typical. The ungrateful beasts turn my own flesh and blood against me. Literally, you turned her into a blood sucker like you!" He turned and backhanded Riker's face, knocking him completely to the ground.
