when we arrived to the mall it looked so much bigger to me. " guys did the mall get bigger or is it just me?" They laughed at my question and said " oh my gosh just shut up and lets go" I got off te car and went inside . I looked around. I spotted food " FOOD GUYS LETS GO" I said and startedf running towards chipotle all the guys following. I oredered the usual and we waited. " umm I know you probably don't want to talk about this but Matt why did you do that?" Aaron said and everyone looked at him " why would you even ask that ?" Carter snapped.. " Hey no he has the right to ask and well I felt so bad and I feel like ava leaving was all my fault and I felt useless and worthless and it was like there was no way out except killing myself" Cam put his hand on my shoulder and smiled. Cam was alway snice and sweet to me always . I smiled then our food arrived. We all ate like pigs and barely said anything. " Let's go shooopppingg" I said in a white girl voice. Everyone laughed and I winked. After we were done shopping I notcied I barely got anything. I had a pair of vans khaki pants shorts and t-shirts and a bunch of beanies. " Now where do we go ?" Shawn said out little driver. " movies" I said. they all nodded. I realized that Shawn was always the one driving where we went somewhere probably because he was the only mature one and that knew what he was doing and wouldn't kill us. When we arrived we got our tikets for My GIrl a romantic movie mm. I got some popcorn and skittles and what not then we went to go sit down. We talked during the previews then all of a sudden Tay screams " COCK!" we all look at him . " hey don't say that " shawn said elbowing Tay . We all laughed at how innocent Shawn was. Then the movie started it wasn't to bad I like the funeral stuff and what not. I suddenly had this urge to go pee. " I am going to the restroom needa take a leak" I said to the boys they all nodded and I left. I did my buisness but when I came out of the bathroom I felt like I needed some fresh air I don't know why it was the weirdest feeling ever I went outside and walked in the alley that was next to the movie theater I heard someone crying and then someone yell " you dont do anything right so this is what you get you deserve this" then the cry was louder " please stop don't hit me anymo" the other voice interuppted her " shut up" I didn't know what to do but then I knew the right thing was to stand up for her no women should be treated that way but what if the guys just beat me up and I can't got back to the hospital again. I turned away but then heard her scream in pain. NO I couldn't let this happen I started running to the crying. At the end of the valley there was thig girl in a corner a boy probably my age hovering her his hand raised the girl looked at me and mouthed me to go . I shook my head and then he slapped her. Her lip was bleeding her nose was bleeding she had bruises on her arms and cheeks. " Stop" I yelled and the boy turned to look at me " get away from here this is none of you concern."  I didn't go tho I walked closer and he yelled at me even though I was inches away " get away" He got off of the girl and faced me " No I won't go what gives you the right to treat her like this what did she ever do to you , you are a fucken coward doing this shit leave her alone" He got even closer to me " go before I beat your pretty boy ass" He laughed I just ignored him and walked around him to the girls she was cryijng. I grabbed her by the arm to help her stand up but the boy turned me around and punched me in the face. He wasn't that strong I mean I have fought stronger I pushed him to the ground and started kicking him he got up and punched me. I punched him right in the face causing his mouth to bleed wildly " leave " I said he turned around but then turned back and sai/d " this isn't the end of all this and you slut watch out I am going to come back to get you." He finsihed pointing to the girl and left. I rushed to the girl who was weeping and helped her up. " are you okay?" I asked she looked up at me she had the most gorgeous eyes ever. " yeah I am used to it." She said then looked down I hugged her and she hugged back crying . " thanks for helping me." she said between sobs I stroked her hair " he didn't have a right to treat you that way." She hugged me tighter " what's your name?" I asked. wiping her tears. " Crystal , my name is crystal and yours?" she let out a fake smile I could tell she was hurting. " my name is Matthew" I hugged her once more. " well I am going to leave she said turning away. " no I can't let you go not with that phyco runnin around just come to my place and I will make sure no one hurts you" I said grabbing her arm she looked at me. " umm we just met and I am fine now" she said " Please don't go Crystal let me protect you I promise you won't regeret it you're beautiful and don't deserve to be treated like that" I argued she came towards me " only because I owe yu it" she smiled . " here umm I have to text my freinds they are at the movie theater and we can't go in there wth us looking like this so I will tell them to come pick us up"  she nodded I got out my phone lol I already had missed calls and texts from mine and the boys group chat I told them where we were at and they came and picked us up.    " Who is she" Tay asked me as me and Crystal got on " my name is Crystal " she smiled. " nice to meet you" they all said then we introduced all of us. When we arrived home it was late around lik 12 and crystal said she was tired. I led her to my room . I saw that Ava had left some of her clothes. " umm there is clothes in there for you feel free to wear whatever suits you best" she looked at me confused. " do you have a girlfriend and won't she get mad if I put on her clothes" I looked down " I will explain everything tomorrow just please don't ask but no I do not have a girlfriend " I smiled and left for her to get into pjs . Awhile after she came out. She had on pink sweatpants with one of y favorite Ava t- shirt that said " Matt is my hero" and her hair was in a messy bun and she had healed her wonds. She had the same sense of style as Ava she reminded me so much of her I smiled. " You look really good " I smiled she blushed. " where are allt he other boys" she asked. " they all went to bed" I smiled " Oh can we go to bed to but don't get touchy" she giggled " I won't " I smiled. We went into my room and she laid down I laid down next to her and I shut off the light. I wanted to put my arm around her but what if she got mad " could you umm cuddle with me" She said as if reading my mind. I put my arm around her and she turned around and looked up at me and smiled " good night Matchu" I smiled back " good night" and kissed her forehead. Ava used to call me Matchu. I smiled and I closed my eyes and htought about how much Crystal reminded me of Ava and hwo much I actually felt comftroable with her. I think I might love her. No love immpossible we just met.
