"Bakit ka nakasuot ng mask?"

We are walking towards the Gymnasium. Kasama ko ang mga kaibigan ko. It was another Saturday and we have a game. Kalaban namin ang kabilang University na siyang may pinakamagaling na mga volleyball players.

"Tanga, kasi mag sisigaw na naman 'yang si Joanna ayoko lang maamoy ang malansa niyang hininga!" Etyl answered with her eyes became smaller even more while pointing Joanna beside me.

Napalingon na naman sa amin ang ibang mga estudyante nang narinig ang sagot ni Etyl. She's always like this. She didn't care who could hear her.

"Aba, talaga lang ha? Coming from you? Sa'yo pa talagang kulang na lang ihiga ka sa hospital bed para matawag kang pasyente," asik naman ni Joanna na patuloy sa paglalakad pero ang ulo nasa likod para ma tignan ang reaction ni Etyl sa sagot niya.

I saw how Etyl changed her emotion. Natabunan ng mask ang kanyang mukha na tanging mga mata niya lang ang nakikita. She was surprised by Joanna's answer that her eyes widened. I chuckled a bit.

They continue arguing over and over until we reached the gymnasium. They sat at bench where they could see me clearly. They have their banner with them. I tried to checked what is written there but they didn't let me. Surprise raw para mamaya.

Sa kabilang bench nakita ko sila Ate Raine, Ate Jane at Ate Chrish. They are with their friends. Ngayon ko lang rin nalaman na dito nag aaral si Cai. He's an Engineering student of this university.

I waved my hand at them but seems like they didn't noticed that. Baka rin hindi nila ako nakita rito.

"Hala pota!" It was Etyl who shouted again.

Napalingon ako sa kanya at nakitang nanlaki na naman ang mga maliliit niyang mga mata. She stopped scrolling and just stared at her phone. Nakikichismis na rin ang mga kaibigan namin kung bakit siya sumigaw.

"Ano 'yan?" I asked curiously as I started walking towards her.

"Dhalal! check your phone and go to the university page!" She shouted.

"Bakit?" Si Dhalal na parang hindi naman interesado sa sinabi niya.

I open my social media account and type AU freshmen week, what was welcomed me is someone tried to confess his feelings for Dhalal! I laugh as I am reading his confession. It was cute but I just couldn't help but to laugh.

Hi to my crush Dhalal Alfanta of BS Architecture-A. The moment you added me on Facebook I knew you were the one. I know you're currently inlove with Renz Guevarra and I respect that, your relationship and you. I just wanted you to know that I am always here for you, willing to listen your rants and problem.. as of now, I know there's someone comes to your mind and most probably you knew who I am. Thank you for answering my calls at night even I know you're already annoyed and maybe you wanted to end the call but you are just too kind and generous not to do it. I heard them laughing behind my back probably they read it too. As I scroll down, I saw Renz commented below.

Tol, sana okay ka lang.

Malakas akong tumawa sa nabasa. Pota, hindi ko alam pero nakakatawa the way Renz commented on that post.

"Tignan niyo ang comment ni Renz, tangina!" Tumatawang sinabi ko sa mga kaibigan.

When I looked at Dhalal she's not moving. She's just staring blankly on her phone screen. Tila hindi alam kung ano ang nangyayari sa kanya.
