The trio of bikers parked their bikes and climbed off. It was their job to keep this new gang occupied. To do that, they needed to cause a distraction. Jax wished he had Opie with them. He was their explosives expert. They stood around discussing what to do. Before they could do anything, they found themselves being shot at. All three dove for cover trying to not get shot in the process. "Wha' tha 'ell?" Chibs exclaimed.
Jax just told them to shoot back. If this is what it would take to keep them occupied long enough for the rest of their club to get their guns moved so be it. Grabbing their guns, they began firing back hitting several of the rival gang in the process. The blond would rather have started out talking with the rival gang but they were very hostile towards them. One bullet grazed Happy's left arm making him growl. One bullet narrowly missed Chibs' head.
Thankfully, Jax's pre-paid finally went off. "We've got everything on Unser's truck. We're heading off now. Get out of there!" Clay told him. Jax relayed what Clay had said earning a head nod from the medic. They rushed to their bikes, still firing at the hostile gang, and sped off the way they'd come. The adrenaline from the gun fight kept the pain at bay for Happy but he was still pissed off.
They made it back to their clubhouse with no further incidents. As far as they knew, they hadn't been followed. At least that they could tell. Chibs was quick to get his med kit and doctor Happy who was downing some Jack Daniels. Jax called Clay and explained what had gone on and who started firing first. It angered the Prez and very distrusting of such a hostile gang.

A few days later and Clay was calling for a lockdown. Everyone they knew could potentially be a target. Tara hated it but knew it was a part of life in being with Jax. She kept a bag packed for their boys for just such an occasion. Gemma quickly did some grocery shopping so they'd have food at the clubhouse until the lockdown was lifted. Unser called the biker leader and explained some of the threats he'd been hearing. No one associated with the Sons were safe.
Clay decided his neighbor and her children were in danger as well. He sent Tig to her tattoo shop to get her to the clubhouse. Happy scowled hating she was in danger to begin with just because she was loosely associated with him and his club. There was a pang of something he couldn't define as he watched Tig leave the lot to head to Isis' tattoo shop. The SAA wasn't sure how Isis was going to take being told what to do, even for her and her children's safety, and hoped she'd come along willingly.
There was no one, customer wise, in the shop when he arrived. The girls were busy doing their schoolwork and Isis was sweeping the shop. She smiled when she saw the biker and asked him why he'd come over.
"We're going on lockdown. There's a threat to us and everyone we're associated with. As a precaution, Clay wants you and your girls at the clubhouse with us." Tig explained making her jaw drop.
"What exactly does that mean?" She leaned against her broom.
"Everyone stays at the clubhouse. We have an apartment you and your girls can share. Even has a small kitchenette with it. I'll escort you to your house so you can pack a bag. I'm not sure how long the lockdown is going to be." Tig stated, "We're going to deal with this threat as quickly as we can. But we need to get going."
"Well, I've never taken to being threatened lightly. If you think it's best we go, we'll go." Isis conceded.
"Clay wouldn't have asked me to come if he didn't believe you ladies were in danger too." Tig retorted.
"Girls, pack up quickly." Isis said as she walked over and turned her sign to 'closed' making Tig sigh she was so willing to go.
The girls packed their school stuff quickly. Isis told the SAA she'd meet them at the clubhouse but he shook his head. "I need to escort you to be safe. Clay will have my head if I let you run around on your own with this threat out there." Tig told her making her chuckle. She locked the door and opened her car. He followed her to her house as he promised while keeping a close eye on his surroundings.
Isis left her car running as she quickly opened her house and rushed inside. She told the girls to pack an overnight bag as quickly as they could. Isis headed to her room to do the same. Clothes, toiletries, her sketch book, and her gun. She was always prepared. Having everything she thought she'd need, she walked into Ashanti's room to urge her to hurry up. "Don't forget to bring your school stuff too!" Isis shouted making both girls groan.
Having their bags packed, they left the house and locked it up before climbing back into the still-running car. She followed Tig back to the clubhouse and parked. "What are we doing here, mom?" Leia asked making Isis look between her two daughters. She explained that Clay was being cautious and wanted to keep them safe. Gemma smiled at Isis as they walked across the parking lot to the clubhouse. One of the prospects closed the gate to the compound.
"Glad you made it." Gemma told Isis.
"Well, I've never taken being threatened lightly." She chuckled.
"I'll show you to the apartment you and your girls are gonna have to share. It's a king sized bed so you three should be comfortable enough. There's also a small kitchenette in there and an attached bathroom." Gemma stated as she began walking them to the clubhouse.
Isis told her girls to follow her. They all followed Gemma into the clubhouse where they noticed several other women and a few children. Tara just looked at Isis strangely as the woman walked past her. She leaned over and asked who Isis was so Jax explained her relation to the club. Tara didn't think she should be there since she wasn't an 'ol lady but Jax just shrugged. Gemma showed the trio of women around earning a head nod from Isis.
Happy was pleased Isis and her girls had come. At least he knew they'd be safe until they had dealt with this other gang. Clay called church so the SAMCRO members entered the chapel and shut the doors. Gemma was sitting at a table sipping a cup of coffee when Isis emerged from her apartment. The Queen Bee waved her over earning a low groan from Tara. Isis had a seat and looked around.
"This is Tara, Jax's wife. This is my neighbor Isis." Gemma introduced the pair.
"Pleasure to meet you." Isis smiled but Tara just sneered at her earning a raised eyebrow in return.
"I don't see why she has to be here." Tara commented.
"Because she is an associate of SAMCRO whether you like it or not. She and her daughters are in danger too. We're just covering all our bases." Gemma scolded her making Tara roll her eyes.
"Territorial dispute?" Isis glanced over at Tara making Gemma laugh.
"Something like that. Where's your girls at?" Gemma inquired.
"I told them to stay in the apartment and get back to their schoolwork." Isis replied.
"How did you get them out of school so fast?" Tara asked.
"They're homeschooled. They were already at the shop with me when Tig showed up." Isis explained.
Tara just sneered at her again. Isis rolled her eyes this time.
"Why are you homeschooling them?" Gemma asked.
"Leia got into it with one of the administrators over how she dressed despite several of the other students dressing the exact same way. Nearly got into a fist fight with him over it. That and one of the other students was giving out some homemade brownies his mother supposedly made. She began freaking out and called me. Come to find out the little bastard had made them and laced them with pot.
I called the school and read them the riot act. They wouldn't do anything to the other student claiming my daughter was lying. She knows better than to lie to me, first of all. Secondly, she was truly freaking out and I could hear it as we were talking on the phone. You can't fake that shit, ya know? I decided they were better off at home with me than that horrid school." Isis explained.
