Happy took a bottle of Jack and a shot glass back to his room once everything had settled down. He'd be interrogating a few people the following day but his mind was elsewhere. Instead of worrying about that and how he was going to extract the information he needed, all he could think about was Isis and how she was dressed. He couldn't help but find himself becoming more and more attracted to her. Shutting his door, he closed his eyes and envisioned her in her pj's.
He poured himself a shot after sitting down on the edge of his bed. Hearing gunfire, she didn't react the way most women would. Hiding in her room until things were over. She'd come out with her gun and had even taken a few shots of her own. She was doing her best to defend herself and her daughters even though the rest of the club were shooting back at the intruders. She was very independent, very feisty, and handled herself like a pro.
Although he'd never entertained the idea of taking an 'ol lady before, he couldn't help but think she'd make an excellent 'ol lady if they ever got to that stage. He'd slept with all the crow eaters that hung around the club, as most of his brothers had, but none held the natural sensuality and independence as she did. Something all those whores wish they had. She didn't need a man like the crow eaters. He liked that a lot about her.
He thought about how short her shorts were, showing off her long, toned legs. The tank top that showed her stomach and the few tattoos that adorned it as well as the belly ring that dangled from her belly button. He was certain she wasn't wearing a bra either. After having two kids, they were still very perky he noted. He wanted to see what other tattoos she had. See what else she had pierced. Happy ran his hand over his face before pouring himself another shot.
After a few more shots, he decided to head back to bed. He slipped out of his pj bottoms and tossed them on the desk. As he got settled under the covers, his mind began fantasizing about Isis. He finally drifted off to sleep with thoughts of having her in his bed, having her all to himself, and eventually inking her with his crow. When he woke up the next day, he found a steaming cup of coffee sitting on his desk. 'Who the hell came into my room?' he thought with furrowed brows.
He quickly got dressed in some jeans, a gray SAMCRO shirt, his boots, and his kutte. Taking his coffee, he headed out into the clubhouse. The prospects were all up and cleaning the clubhouse from the previous night. He found Gemma, Isis, and Lyla in the kitchen making breakfast. Clay was sitting with Bobby at a table chatting quietly. He sat at the bar so he could enjoy his coffee and watch the women making breakfast. It appeared to be pancakes, bacon, and biscuits.
"Morning." Chibs said as he emerged from the dorms.
Happy just grunted at him. Lyla walked out and handed a cup of coffee to Chibs before walking back into the kitchen. Isis soon emerged with a full pot of coffee and headed over to Clay and Bobby. He watched as she refilled their cups then walked back over to where he and Chibs were sitting. Without a word, she refilled his cup then looked up at him and winked. He couldn't help but smile as she walked back into the kitchen.
Ashanti walked out into the clubhouse and sat down at the bar in between Chibs and Happy. Lyla mentioned to Isis that one of her daughters was now sitting at the bar. Isis poured a glass of milk and walked out to hand it to her. Ashanti thanked her mother before laying her head on her hands on the bar.
"Ye ok, lass?" Chibs questioned.
"I hate mornings." She mumbled making Chibs laugh and Happy smile slightly.
Isis returned to talk to her daughter, "Where's your sister?"
"Still sleeping."
"Go wake her up, please. Breakfast is nearly done." Isis explained.
Ashanti slid off her stool and shuffled her way down the hall to the apartment they were sharing. Isis shook her head before going to fetch another glass of milk. Gemma asked if everything was ok. Isis shrugged before telling her she'd simply sent Ash to go wake up her sister. The two girls wandered back to the clubhouse where Ashanti had a seat where she was before. Leia plopped down on the unoccupied couch, leaned her head back and closed her eyes.
Tara came out with the two boys. She wondered how Isis had taken to things the previous night. Would she be terrified and want nothing to do with the club anymore? Would she be angry and blame the club for putting her and her children's lives in danger? The doctor couldn't help but want to see how she was this morning. Lyla greeted her cordially as she walked into the kitchen to grab a cup of coffee. Isis was busy at the stove cooking bacon while Gemma was flipping pancakes.
"Good morning. How'd you sleep Isis?" Tara asked as she poured a cup of coffee.
"Pretty well until all the gunfire. (Tara smirked as Happy entered the kitchen to refill his cup) But then I grabbed my gun and headed out to the main room to see what was happening. Got a few shots off. Hit one guy...no, no I hit two guys in the leg and one guy in the arm before Happy forced me back to my room." She explained.
"You actually came out of your room with a gun?" Lyla's eyes widened.
"I don't take to being threatened lightly. (She eyed Tara who was just staring at her) And my children's safety comes before all else. If I could help stop the gunfire, I was going to do it." Isis stated making Gemma smile.
"Opie didn't want me anywhere near the gunfire so I stayed in our room with the kids." Lyla stated.
"Well, I wouldn't have gone back but Happy all but forced me. (She shrugged) Told me they had it and I should go check on the girls. So I did." Isis said.
'She's too stubborn to just sit by and not do something about the gunfire yet she let Happy tell her to go back to her room and check on her girls? Could she have a thing for Happy?' Gemma thought to herself.
"How's breakfast coming?" Jax asked as he entered the kitchen.
"Almost done. Finishing up the bacon and the biscuits should be coming out of the oven in a few minutes." Gemma told her son.
"Great, the boys are complaining of being hungry." Jax laughed before leaning over and kissing his mother's cheek.
Gemma told Lyla to get out the paper plates and plastic ware again. The blond quickly did as she was bid as Jax went to sit at a table with his wife and two boys. Bobby was surprised at how easily Isis slipped into their world. She helped in the kitchen like a good 'ol lady and didn't seem to ask too many questions about what was going on. Juice had told them when he woke up that she'd come out of her apartment with a gun and had fired at several of the intruders. The FO wondered why she would do that instead of staying in her room with her girls.
Gemma finally called everyone to breakfast. The men let the women get the kids their plates and the teens make theirs before digging in themselves. Isis just shook her head as the group of bikers descended upon the kitchen. Happy urged Isis to make herself a plate while there was still food left. She laughed before getting in line behind Juice. Happy stood behind her as they waited to get into the kitchen. Ashanti and Leia sat down on the black leather couch closest to the corridor to the dorms to eat. Tara had the boys sitting at their table while she cut up their pancakes for them.
The doctor was too busy to notice how Happy was acting. Once they made it into the kitchen, he made sure Isis filled her plate. She refilled her coffee cup before sitting down at the bar. Gemma sat with Clay and Bobby. Chibs and Happy sat back down where they had been sitting before but now they had Isis sitting between them. Everyone else fanned out around the room. The prospects were the last to get a plate as they were the "low men on the totem pole" so to speak. Chibs got Isis to talking about random things as they ate. She enjoyed talking with the Scot and found she liked hanging out with him a lot.
