"Hey pumpkin. I was thinking of taking the day off tomorrow. What do you think?" Isis asked when she entered the dorm room.
"Does that mean we can take the day off to?" Ashanti questioned.
"Well, I don't think Leia is going to be able to concentrate very well. Her mental well-being comes first. I want to help her deal with the trauma she's gone through." Isis explained.
"Thanks mom." Leia replied.
"What would you girls like to do tomorrow?" Isis sat down on the bed.
"Has the lockdown been lifted? Otherwise we'll be stuck here?" Ashanti stated as Happy entered the room.
"I think Clay is keeping the lockdown for one more night just to be on the safe side." Happy exclaimed as he sat down next to Isis, "How are you feeling, Leia?"
"In pain and very sore." The teen shrugged.
"That's to be expected, sweetie. How are you doing emotionally?" Isis questioned, "And you two never answered my question."
"Honestly? I think I'd rather just stick close to home for now. I don't want to go out looking like this." Leia looked away from her mother.
"Want to hang out at the clubhouse then?" Isis offered, "We can make fun of Tig when he gets frustrated with whatever vehicle he's working on."
Isis' teasing of Tig made both girls smile. Happy suggested they watch a movie and get settled for bed. Isis agreed figuring everyone could use the rest of going to be early. The last day or so had been incredibly emotionally draining. Happy let Leia pick out the movie and was relieved to see she'd picked a comedy. She was trying to keep herself from falling into that dark hole of depression after the attack which he took as a good sign. She was strong-willed like her mother.
The girls got settled on their cots as Happy got the movie going. Isis headed into the bathroom to change for bed. Once she was done, Happy went in to change for bed as well. He came out in his pj bottoms and no shirt but it didn't bother Isis at all. He turned out the lights so they could watch the movie without the glare of the lights on. Isis snuggled into his side when he crawled into bed. Everyone were quiet watching the movie, laughing when appropriate, and things seemed to be fine.
The girls eventually drifted off to sleep during the second movie that was picked. Leia bolted upright in bed, forehead covered in sweat, heart racing. She looked around the room and realized she was in Happy's dorm room and that she'd been saved already. Laying back down, she willed the tears away so she could go back to sleep. It took her awhile, with lots of tossing and turning, but she eventually got back to sleep.
Gemma and Lyla were in the kitchen making breakfast when Isis made her way into the kitchen for some coffee. The pair greeted the raven-headed woman as she made herself a cup of Joe. Gemma inquired how Leia was feeling as the teen made her way into the kitchen. "Still really sore." Leia replied as she poured herself a glass of milk. Isis asked what she could do to help with breakfast. She needed a distraction for the time being.
Leia went to go sit on one of the black couches while her mother helped make breakfast for everyone. Clay was lifting the lockdown so after breakfast, Isis figured she'd take the girls and head home. Just lounge around the house watching TV or playing games. As the women began making plates for people, bikers slowly began making their way into the clubhouse. Lyla helped pass out plates while Isis poured cups of coffee for everyone. Happy kissed her cheek when she handed him one.
"Hey Hap?" Clay stated making the killer turn and look at his Prez, "Take the day off and be with your family. I'm sure the poor girl needs to be around those that care about her after what she went through."
