Isis urged her daughters to try and go back to bed as she led them out of her room. Gemma followed behind stopping at each bedroom so each child could hug her mother again. Isis kissed their foreheads and told them they were safe and it was ok to get some rest. She walked into the kitchen and poured herself a shot of Vodka before sitting down at the dining room table with the shot glass and Vodka bottle.

"You ok?" Gemma asked.

"I will be. Not sure who those guys were. Not sure if they had been casing the place out. I heard one say to head to my room first, or something like that, because the children would fight less if the mother was bound. So they clearly knew the three of us were here." Isis poured another shot and downed it before going on, "It's...alarming. A little confusing. And now I've got blood stains to try and get out of my carpet."

Gemma had to smile at her last statement.

"I'll get the prospects over here tomorrow to help with that. Why don't you take the day off work. You've had a rough night. I'm sure the girls could use a day of relaxation too." Gemma suggested.

"Yeah. I should. (She sighed) I'm gonna have to tell Happy and he's gonna blow up over this." Isis stated.

"Just because he cares."

"Oh, I know. It's still not a conversation I'm looking forward too." Isis replied, "I can't wait for them to come home, though."

Gemma smiled, "Miss him already?"

"Every night." Isis chuckled, "Honestly, it does feel like something's missing since he's been gone. I guess I've just gotten used to his presence being around here."

Isis shrugged as she poured another shot then downed it.

"Are you sure you're alright?" Gemma asked.

"Yeah. I didn't kill anyone so I'm good." She chuckled, "I'll be heading to bed soon. Thanks for dropping by to check on us. And sorry if all the sirens and flashing lights woke you up."

"We're neighbors and friends. It's what we do. Maybe we can go do a little shopping, all four of us. Get you guys out of the house for a while." Gemma stated as she stood up.

"That would be nice. The girls will love it." Isis chuckled as she put the lid back on the Vodka bottle.

"I'll see you sometime tomorrow then." Gemma said before walking towards the front door.

Isis walked back into the kitchen to put the Vodka back in the freezer and drop the shot glass in the sink. She then walked to the front door to lock it then made her way back to her bedroom. Having to step around the pools of blood irritated her. It was a grim reminder of the night and she hated it. Climbing back into bed, she hugged Happy's pillow and inhaled deeply. She loved the way the man smelled. So rugged and manly.

As much as Isis wanted to go to work, to put everything behind her, she knew her girls would be so distracted today by what had happened so she decided to let everyone take the day off. No work for her, no schoolwork for the children. Both girls were excited they were getting the day off, so to speak, and even more excited at the thought of spending the day shopping. Around ten am, Gemma came over and asked if everyone were ready to head out.

They were going to Lodi which, according to the Queen, had better shops. Isis grabbed her wallet and cell then locked up the house. The two girls piled into the back seat of Gemma's SUV while Isis climbed into the passenger seat. The two adults talked about the different shops there in Lodi as they drove along while the two girls just sat quietly in the back. Both had their spending money with them.

Ashanti had been saving up her allowance for quite a while to buy an X-Box. With the money her grandpa gave her, she now had enough. She was sure she did, anyhow. They would be getting their allowance for the week the following day so she could buy some games for her new system with that. Well, a game to start out with. Their allowance wasn't very large but she had wanted the system for a long time and her mother never bought her one. She was excited to get to buy it herself.

Leia didn't quite know what she was going to spend her free money on. She wanted a motorcycle and knew they weren't cheap. She was sure her mother wasn't going to help her buy one. At least one person in the house understood her wanting to drive a bike! She stared out the window as the scenery rushed by debating on what to spend her money on or even if she was going to spend it at all.

The whole morning and afternoon, the four ladies spent shopping and sharing stories of their families. Isis was shocked to learn that Gemma had had a second son named Thomas who had died when he was about six. She didn't know what she'd do if one of her girls had died on her. The Queen just smiled and told her things were alright and that she'd made peace with it. "You're a stronger woman than I!" Isis retorted making the older woman laugh.

Ashanti was excited to head into a gaming store so she could buy her X-Box. She chose one that came with several games since it was on sale and was the one she had wanted. Her favorite PC game was coming to X-Box soon and she would rather play on it than her PC. Isis just shook her head as she watched her daughter confidently speaking with the salesclerk. Gemma walked around with Leia who didn't seem to have the same interests as her younger sister.

The older teen bought herself a few magazines but that was about it. One was a tattoo magazine, making Gemma laugh seeing her mother all tattooed up, and another was a biker magazine all about different motorcycles. 'Is this girl gonna turn out to be a biker chick?' Gemma wondered as they walked along. Ashanti was happy as a clam with her one and only purchase. She'd gotten what she'd been wanting for well over a year and couldn't wait to get home to hook it up to her TV and start playing.

Gemma's phone rang so she excused herself to answer it. Clay was calling to let her know they were about to start heading back to Charming. They spoke for a few more minutes before Gemma told him she'd have a big dinner waiting for everyone when they got back that evening. Isis raised her eyebrow as she listened in to the conversation. When Gemma was finally off the phone, she explained what Clay had told her and that she wanted to throw a big family dinner so the guys who'd gone on the run would have a nice meal to come back too.

Isis smiled and asked what all she could do to help. Her 'ol man was on that run so it was partly her responsibility to make this dinner happen. Gemma asked if she'd help make the meal which earned a smile and head nod from the raven-headed woman. Not knowing exactly when the bikers would return, they decided to cut their shopping trip short. Ashanti was excited because that meant she could get her X-Box hooked up and began playing games sooner!
