You never know

Jessica heard her phone ringing so she quickly ran to pick it up.  Danny was facetiming her.

"Hey! What took you so long?" Jessica pouts. "I was lonely!"

"Aw I'm sorry! What's up, little baby?"

"I'm making dinner.. just for me!" Jessica rolls her eyes. "I hate this crap! I can't go out and see anyone! I want you to come back!" Jessica pouts her little lips.

"Aw.."

"Why don't we just quarantine together? It's better than being alone!"

"That's true."

"I mean.. unless you don't want to."

"No, I'd love to! But I do have a pretty busy week ahead of me. I don't know how much time I'll get to spend with you."

"That's okay! I just like having someone else in the house."

"Okay, then I'll start packing my things.. looks like we're moving in together, baby!" Danny smiles.

Jessica laughs. "Oh it's gonna be so much fun! I can't wait to pick on you!"

"You little meany." Danny chuckles. "But not gonna lie.. I kinda like it when you're mean to me."

"You do?"

"Yeah.. it's cute." Danny smiles softly.

Jessica giggles. "Well.. then in that case, pack your shit and get over here you fat tub of lard!"

Danny laughs. "I'll be over in the morning. I have to make a few phone calls right now, and I have to pack."

"Do you need help?"

"I should make you pack for me since you're making me stay with you!"

Jessica laughs. "Loser!"

"But it's okay, I'll be nice."

"I don't mind helping."

"Alright.. then get your ass over here."

Jessica giggles. "Coming!"

"Okay, where do you keep your undies?"

Danny turns to Jessica who had a straight look on her face.

"In the top drawer. I can do that." He laughs.

Jessica smiles and walks over to the dresser.
She slides the drawer open and her eyes widen as a smile spreads across her face. "Jackpot!"

"You're such a freak!" Danny says.

Jessica laughs. "How many pairs do you want?"

"I don't know.."

"I'll pack a bunch in case you have an accident."

"Thanks." Danny chuckles.

Danny's phone then starts ringing so he leaves to answer it.

Jessica grabs his underwear and some socks. She then sees a pack of condoms. Jessica looks towards the door, then back at the condoms. She quickly grabs them and puts them in her purse.

"You never know." She says to herself.

"All packed!" Jessica smiles softly as Danny zips up his last bag.

"Yep!"

"Are you as exhausted as I am?" Jessica yawns.

"I am pretty exhausted. You wanna sleep here and we'll go off to your place tomorrow?"

"I don't have a toothbrush here."

"I have extra."

"Ew!" Jessica makes a face.

"It hasn't been opened, Jess." Danny chuckles.

"Oh. Then sure!" Jessica laughs. "My clothes are comfy so I can just sleep in this! Oh but where will I sleep? You turned the free room into your office."

"Sleep in my bed."

"Isn't that icky?" Jessica scrunches her nose.

Danny laughs. "I'll sleep on the couch."

"No, you don't have to do that! I'll sleep with you.. just keep your clothes on, mister!" Jessica points her finger at him.

"I will." Danny laughs.

A little later Danny and Jessica got ready for bed.

"Goodnight, darling!" Jessica smiles.

"Nighty night, baby." Danny chuckles and kisses her cheek. "Try not to fart in your sleep and blow me off the bed."

Jessica hits Danny on his arm and laughs. "JERK! Will you ever let that go?"

"Oh I'm afraid not! That road trip to California a few years back.. Jess, you went to sleep and your ass wanted to sing!"

"Oh my gosh, STOOOOP!" Jessica's face turns red."

"I'm sorry!" Danny cracks up. "I'm so sorry, I'm done, I promise." Danny wraps his arms around her and holds her tight.

"Oh no, not too tight!" Danny says before making a noise with his mouth.

"Okay, Enough!" Jessica pushes him away.

"Jess, it's a joke!" Danny laughs.

"Goodnight, Huston."

"Goodnight.... Farty McFarter Pants."

Jessica rolls her eyes and turns to her side as Danny laughs hysterically.

"Jess, it's a joke! It's funny!"

The next morning.

Jessica slowly opens her eyes and stretches out.
Danny was just getting out of the shower.

"Morning!" Danny smiles.

"Good morning.." Jessica yawns.

"Why are your pants on the ground?"

Jessica laughs and whines. "It got too hoooot. Don't look so I can go to the bathroom."

Danny chuckles. "I'll leave and give you some privacy."

"Thanks.  Hey wait!"

"What?"

"What's for breakfast?" Jessica smiles.

Danny chuckles. "I'll surprise you."

Jessica giggles and watches him walk away.
Once the door is shut Jessica covers her face and screams into the pillow.

"Alrighty, let's go.  Oh wait!  Jess, go ahead and go out to the car.  I forgot something!"

"Okay."

Danny runs to his room and opens his underwear drawer. "You never know." He says searching through the drawer.

"Oh no, where are they?  Dammit!" He sighs.
"Oh well.. I'll just have to be careful."

Before leaving the room he takes a deep breath and says, "It's just Jessica!  Be cool, man."
