This story will kinda be a little like my story, "Trapped". Only because it takes place during the pandemic, except in this story they're in their mid-late 20's.
"Yeah I want a huge one! I don't want a skinny little wimpy tree that I'll walk past and cry because I'm bigger than the damn thing."
Danny laughs. "Honey, you're a mess."
"It's true though! I need a big tree!"
"Alright, then this ones it. It's beautiful, baby." Danny smiles.
"I think so too!" Jessica then places one hand on her back, and the other on her large bump.
"How do you like it, Marlowe?" Danny speaks to Jessica's belly.
"She's kicking." Jessica giggles.
"She's saying, I can't see it let me out!" Danny speaks in a baby voice.
Jessica laughs and places her hand on Danny. Danny smiles and kisses her lips.

"Babe, I must say you did an amazing job at picking the tree. It's beautiful!"
"It's gorgeous! And look! We have one more ornament!" Jessica smiles.

"Oh of course! We saved the best for last."
Jessica giggles. "Can you believe we're just a couple months away from having a baby of our very own?"
"I can't! So much has changed in a year."
"SO MUCH! Not only are we in the middle of a global pandemic, but I'm dating my best friend of twenty years, and we're having a baby!"
"A little girl." Danny smiles.
"Miss Marlowe Blake Huston. I'm so happy, Danny."
"So am I. I can't believe how lucky I am."
"Ditto." Jessica giggles and pecks his lips.
"2021 is gonna be wild!"
"Don't say that! God, he means wild Fun, and crazy busy with a baby!"
Danny gives Jessica a funny look.
"Look what he did in 2020, we don't want him thinking we want more of this!"
Danny laughs. "I love you so much, you dork!"

Christmas.
Jessica's sister and her family are doing much better. Both Danny and Jessica's parents, and siblings have all been at home, and have each been tested. They are planning a very quick Christmas celebration with both families.
But first; Christmas morning.
"Jessie, you didn't have to spoil me so much!"
"Well you spoil me all the time, baby! I just wanted you to have a special Christmas." Jessica smiles sweetly.
"Just being with you is all I need."
"Aww."
"But I love these presents! You're awesome!"
"Thanks." Jessica laughs. "You outdid yourself too, babe. I don't deserve all this."
"You're making my child, you deserve more!"
"You're so sweet, Danny."
Danny leans over and kisses her softly.
"I can't wait until next year when she's here. I know she won't understand what Christmas even is, but it'll still be special for us."
"Yeah.. man imagine her Christmas' when she's older!"
"We can take her to see the Nutcracker!" Jessica smiles big. "Then when she's five she can be in it!!"
"Five?!" Danny's eyes widen.
"Mhm!" Jessica nods. "She'll be a ginger child."
"Wow that's young!"
"Not really!" Jessica laughs.
"Well to me it is, miss twinkle toes."
Jessica giggles. "I can't wait to see her chubby butt in her little tutu!"
"She'll be adorable!" Danny smiles.

After a nice breakfast and showers, Danny and Jessica got dressed and left to the Hustons' house.
"Look at little Jessie! Aw honey, pregnancy is so beautiful on you!"
"Thank you, Mrs. Huston! It's so good to see you all!"
"It's great to see you! I feel we've missed this whole pregnancy." Zoe pouts.
"I know.. hopefully things will be a little different when she's born so you all can see her."
"I'm not going anywhere starting a month before she's born just so I can come over and see her the moment you two come home from the hospital."
"That's exactly what my mom said!" Jessica laughs.

After leaving Danny's family's house, they headed over to the Lange's.
"Look who's here!" Ann shouts. "MARLOWE!"
"Oh wow! I'm here too, sis!" Jessica says.
"Oh yes, hello Jess. How's my Marley?"
"Well she's a fetus. She's perfectly fine." Jessica giggles. "She had some yummy dessert at grandma and grandpa's so she's a bit hyper."
"I can feel that! She feels like a dancer like mommy!"
"That's what Danny says." Jessica laughs.
"Jessie, you were a wild baby just like that. Always stretching out and getting your little feet stuck in my ribs constantly!"
"That's Marlowe! I guess she really is like me! Zoe said Danny didn't move all that much. She said he was so big he never had room!" Jessica laughs and playfully elbows Danny's side.
"I was a porker." Danny nods.
"But he was cute!" Jessica baby talks and hugs him.
"Gosh it's so weird to see you two as a couple!" Ann laughs. "You two were always fighting as kids."
"Yeah I hated her."
"And I thought he was gross."
"What a match!"
Jessica giggles and looks up to Danny.
Danny smiles and kisses her forehead. "A match made in Heaven."
