This is serious

The next morning.

"Morning, Danny." Jessica smiles.

"Good morning. Have you seen this?"

"What is it?"

"Corona."

"The beer?"

Danny rolls his eyes.

"Oh that virus? I heard about it but I'm not too worried."

"There was a positive case here."

"Here?! I didn't think there were any in the states.."

"There is now."

"Oh no.."

"I called my mom and she said they're talking about shutting down the city. We need to get home."

"When?"

"As soon as possible!"

"But.. but it's spring break.." Jessica pouts.

"Jessica, this is serious."

"Well we need to let the other two know."

"I'll tell them, you start packing."

"Okay."

Danny told Evan and Sarah, then made arrangements to fly back home.

"I cannot believe we are flying back home, Daniel! You better not be wrong about this, because I needed this vacation!"

"Jessica, I've been talking to come coworkers, and it's bad." Evan says.

"Oh. Well excuse me!" Jessica makes a face.

Sarah laughs.
"It'll be over soon, don't worry."

"Yeah but I'll have to work! I can't go on vacation then."

"You'll live."

"You'll live!" Jessica mocks her voice.

"Someone have a bottle for this baby?" Danny wraps his arm around her.

"Get away!" Jessica pushes him and makes a face.

Danny laughs. "Maybe take a nap, Jessie."

"I— Well that does sound nice.  I think I will take a nap." Jessica smiles.

"Well Minnesota, we're back!  So much for spring break 2020, huh?" Evan sighs.

"Yep.. this was supposed to be the coolest trip!" Sarah pouts.

"We'll make it up with our summer trip!" Jessica smiles.

"For sure!  You girls be safe.  Evan, good luck at work." Danny says.

"Thanks Danny."

They each share a hug and part ways.

One week later while on one of their facetime chats they noticed something different about Sarah.

"Sarah, are you okay?" Jessica asks.

"Yeah you look like shit." Evan says.

"Thanks Evan. I'm fine.. Just tired."

Evan then begins talking about work, and about what the rest of the nurses and doctors are saying about it. That's when Sarah went into a cough attack.

"Um.. Coronavirus!" Jessica shouts, widening her eyes.

Danny laughs, but Evan stays serious. "Sarah, have you gone to the doctor?"

"No." She coughs. "I'm fine."

"No, I think you need to see a doctor immediately."

"Evan, it's just allergies!"

"Sarah, listen to me and go to the doctor! This shit is bad, and I just want to know you're okay!"

"Ooh sounds like somebody has a crush!" Jessica smirks.

"Will you grow up, Jessica? She's my friend and I'm worried about her!"

"Okay, sorry! Evan's right, Sar. I'm sure you're fine, but you should still go and get checked out."

"Fine! But just to prove to you all that I'm NOT sick!"
