This story will kinda be a little like my story, "Trapped". Only because it takes place during the pandemic, except in this story they're in their mid-late 20's.
Jessica walked out of her room bathed and dressed for the day.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Danny shouted.
"Oh my gosh!" Jessica gasps. "You fucking scared me!" She laughs. "But thank you very much! I'll take my birthday kiss now." Jessica smiles.
Danny wraps his arms around her and kisses her lips.
"Mmm.." Jessica pulls away and smiles softly.
"Twenty five, huh? Baby girl is all grown up!" Danny fake cries. "You're halfway to fifty! You little old lady!"
"You ass!" Jessica laughs and playfully hits his chest.
"That's twenty five and one to grow on booty taps!"
"Noooo!" She whines.
Danny laughs. "I have breakfast ready for you."
"Yay! Thank you!"
Danny kisses Jessica's nose. "You're very welcome!"
Jessica giggles. "So Daniel."
"Am I in trouble?"
"Yes!" Jessica smiles cutely.
"Spank me then."
"Oh my gosh! No, you're not in trouble. I just wanted to let you know that my family will be coming over later around two. They're gonna stay in their car, they just want to see me."
"And you want me to leave?"
"No, I didn't say that!"
"I'm just messing with you. I do have to run into the office today, so you don't have to worry about them questioning us."
"Oh good!" Jessica smiles.
Danny chuckles and kisses her lips once again.

"Smile! I want a birthday girl picture!"
"I don't wanna!" Jessica whines as Danny holds his camera up.
"Will you just smile, you goof?"
Jessica laughs. "Let me go inside, it's hot out here!"

"Ah!" Jessica gives him a look.

Jessica throws her head back laughing. "You're so fucking obsessed with me, Huston!"
"I sure am, Lange!"
Jessica smirks. "Get a life."

That evening Danny picked up Jessica's favorite, and they enjoyed it out in the backyard.
The two spoke about Jessica's birthday last year, and Jessica got upset just thinking of Sarah. Jessica wished she were able to celebrate turning 25 with her best friends like last year, but she was so grateful she got to spend it with Danny.
"It's crazy how much can change in a year, huh?" Danny says.
"Insane! We're in the middle of a global pandemic. Sarah's fighting for her life in the hospital. You and I are together. The world is fighting over toilet paper! It's crazy crazy times."
"Yep." Danny sighs. "I wonder what next year will bring."
"I don't know.. hopefully a puppy!" Jessica smiles.
Danny laughs. "You are so cute, and so dorky. I love you."
Jessica smiles. "You love me?"
"I've always loved me."
"Oh. I thought you meant you Loooved me."
Danny smiles. "I do. I always have loved you, and now.. now I Looove you."
Jessica smiles and sits on Danny's lap. She softly brushes her nose against his. "I love you too."
"Yay! Baby loves me!" Danny cheers making Jessica laugh.
"Shut up and kiss me, Dan!"
*** I'll be 25 in two weeks, and seeing these pictures of Jessica at my age has me feeling some type of way. Depressed! 🤣😭😭😭
