Boredom strikes as we sit in the last period before the end of the day. The first week of school has been pretty tough, but I forgot all about my past. Lily and I hanged out more often and we became good friends. The girl who winked at me in the hallway on my first day, Amelia, has been sending me these clues of wanting to talk to me. She looks like a bad influence but I just can't seem to get over her.

Lily taps on my shoulder as I daydream and I turn around to face her. "Okay, so I've been thinking... Maybe we should get people to review your book. Like actual professionals." I shake my head. "Not in a million years, Lily. That book is very personal."

As you recall, I wrote a book about my whole life and I finished it a few days ago. I asked Lily if I could trust her to read it and not spill anything to anyone.

"Dude, I'm serious. It's so good." I interrupt her. "Stop! I don't want anyone else reading it. Just drop it." I face forward and check the clock. Seconds after the bell rings, everyone rushes up and leaves the building. As I walk out the classroom, Lily stops me. "Look, I'm sorry okay? But you just need to realize that holding onto something that big, is unhealthy. I want to help you." I sigh and look at her. "Thank you. I appreciate it. I really do, but I'm just not ready." She raises an eyebrow. "Okay then. I gotta go but I'll see you on Monday." She rushes to her father's car and they drive off. As I walk home, three boys come from the back and walk next to me.

"Whassup new boy?" I look to my left. "Hi..." He offers his hand and I shake it. "I'm Brian." I shake it and i introduce myself. "Noah. Noah Miller." All of them are from the same school I go to. Brian has a tattoo on his neck and he has a nose piercing. I look to my right. "Austin." We shake hands and I shake the other guy's hand too. "Larry." Austin has blond hair and looks like a fuckboy. Larry has glasses with slicked hair but doesn't act like a nerd. "So, where are you from?" I answer Brian's question. "I'm from Hazardville." They gasp and make weird noises. "Yoo that's the place where the school burned down and everyone died."

Great. Just when I started to leave all that behind. "Yeah, I was the only one who survived." They shake their heads. "Bro, that's crazy. That shit must've been traumatic or some shit." I nod and continue walking with my head up and body straight. "This is me." I stop in front of my house and look at the boys. "It was nice to meet ya'll. Maybe we could plan like a thing." The nod in agreement. "Definitely." We exchange numbers and side our ways.

It's Friday night and I'm sitting comfortably while watching Netflix in my room. My phone's notification sound goes off and I see that Brian invited me to a party.

'how do i get past my mom?'
'just slip out ur window bruh.'

I close my eyes and sigh.

'send me a pin location.'

He send it to me and I change into a black hoodie with jeans and sneakers. I leave my room and spot my mom downstairs. "I'm tired, so... goodnight!"
She doesn't seem suspicious, so I go back to my room and open my window. I put my leg out first and when I pull myself out, my hand slips and I fall onto the grass. "Ahhh.... fuck," I groan. I lift my head and slowly get up. I look through the kitchen window and see that my mother didn't hear anything .

I click on the location and see that the walk time is 5 minutes. I start walking and hear the music from a distant as I get closer. As I approach the big house with lights flickering and music boosting out of proportion, I start to get anxious and hesitate. But before I can turn around, Brian and Larry sees me and calls me. Screams, actually. The look drunk as fuck. "Noahhh, you came! How did you get out?" Larry starts laughing at the man pissing on one of the neighbors car's. "I got out the window, but then I fell." Brian laughs so hard. He' definitely drunk. "You're funny, man. Come in and get a drink." He turns around and goes into the house. I put my hands in my pockets and follow him.

As I enter the house, everyone is either grinding on each other or they're passed out. Brian gives me a drink and as I take a sip, I cough and spit the alcohol out. "What is this?" He laughs. "It's vodka. Clean!" I shake my head. "I almost downed that shit." The both of us laugh and I see a punch table. After I poured myself a drink, Brian disappears and I'm left alone. I quickly finish my drink and pour another. I repeat the same thing over and over till I lost count of the drinks I poured. My vision gets blurry and I loose my balance. I see Amelia with her two other friends and I walk over to her. "Ameliaaa, how are you this fine evening?" She laughs at me. "You're drunk bro, drink some water." I shake my head and take her hand. "Um excuse me, get your hands off me!" I let go of her. "Sorry." I see a girl dancing and I walk to her. I start dancing along with her and look at Amelia. I start grinding on her and Amelia leaves the room. I continue dancing and taking drinks by other people who offers. I see a ping pong table outside by the pool. I slowly get on and I take my pants off. Everyone cheers for me and some are even recording. I couldn't give any fucks, cause how I felt now, was something that I never wanted to end.
