"What?" My mother looks confused. "What do you mean? Do you know her?" I jump up and walk towards the front door. "Noah! Where are you going?" I look at her and open the door. "I'll be back, I promise." I shut the door and walk to Brian's house. I arrive a few minutes later and a few people are still passed out on the yard. I knock on the door as hard as I can and Brian opens the door. "Hey man. How was the party?" His hangover looks worse than mine. "Dude, what happened to Amelia last night?" He chuckles. "You two hit if off and we never saw y'all again." I shake my head. "She's missing." He grins. "What do you mean?"

"I mean, she's missing. Gone." He goes back inside and comes back out with his jacket. "Well where did you last see her?" He closes the door and walk to his car. "She dropped me off at my house." We get in his car and we start driving to all the places that we were last night. I forgot most of the locations, but I still remember the restaurant. The radio starts talking about Amelia and I turn the volume up. "The young girl who was reported as 'missing' is 17 years old and her name is Amelia Young. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. If anyone sees her, please alert the police station of Mount Springs." A commercial plays and I turn the volume down.

"I don't understand... How is she gone? I was with her a few hours ago..." Brian looks at me and shows pity. We search the whole neighborhood and half the places that we were last night. No sign of her at all. The night approaches us and Brian drops me off at my house. I go into my room and sit in one if the corner and start to tear up. Just when I though I had true and passionate love, all things fail.
