The curtains add an orange glow to the morning light, a glowing sky hiding behind it. Sarah's eyes slowly open, adjusting to the sudden brightness. She felt two arms wrapped around her waist holding a tight grip on her. Confused, she turned her head to see Jack next to her, comfortably sleeping next to Sarah. A smile formed on Sarah lips as she admired the boy that slept next to her. Unfortunately, she couldn't enjoy the moment much longer. Her head started to pound like a drum, making her hiss out in pain. She attempted to massage her temples, trying to relieve the pain, though it just seemed to increase every minute. Sarah gently removed Jacks hands from her waist as she slowly turned her body, trying not to wake the sleeping boy. Sarah went to grab her phone off the night stand but stopped when she saw a card, glass of water, and some pills resting on the stand. 'Figure that you'll be up before me, and if you are, here's some pills for your headache and some water. Texted your mom last night letting her know you were at my house. Wake me up if you need anything else <3 - Jack.' Sarah smiled at the kind gesture, she felt her heart practically flutter, she couldn't deny that he had her wrapped around his fingers. Sarah grabbed the two pills, popping them in her mouth, washing it down with the glass of water. Sitting up made her head throb even more so she laid down back down. Sarah grabbed her phone, opening it to see her notifications. As she opened up Instagram the first thing that popped up was a picture her mother had posted an hour ago:

The caption brought sadness to her smile as she realized how long it's been since she had said that to her mother or vise versa. Sarah liked the photo and continued to scroll before she started to sob, which in the long run, would only worsen her headache. As Sarah continued to scroll, liking other posts, she remembered that she received several text messages from the day prior but never cared to check them. She exited off of Instagram and opened up IMessage to see a few texts from multiple people. 4 from her mother, 2 from Addison, and 3 from Elle. Confused, Sarah opened each one to see what each person messaged her about.
Momma: Baby, I'm sorry for getting frustrated. Please come home. I want to talk to you. Momma: Sarah, are you at Jacks? Please answer me I know your ignoring me. Momma: I'm sorry. Momma: Good morning baby, I hope you aren't upset with me still. I really just want you to come home. I promise we can talk.
Sissy: Sarah, Mom's frantically looking for you. She said she was to drunk to remember where you were going. Please come home. Sissy: Are you at a party??? Sissy: If you are, thank god, my sister is becoming a baddie 😌💅
Addie: Hi Sarah. Stef called me and said that you left last night and she's worried about you. I'm sorry if your frustrated with me, and you feel like I'm taking all of your attention, that was never my intention. If you don't want me to be adopted by your mom it's okay. I understand.
