Dream and Error, at one point in time, actually had crushes on each other (depending on rp may even have or are dating).
After the Star Sanses broke up, Blue started inviting Error over to hangout with him and Dream more, and over time, they became good friends.
However, because of Dream's trust issues and Error's haphephobia, they decided to stay friends, unless stated otherwise.
They even joke about it around others, and feel comfortable enough around each other that Dream, on several occasions, has made jokes about sexual acts and gestures, much to Error's surprise the first few times. Now, Error doesn't even bat an eye.
