The following days spent at Sirius Black's home consisted of Astrid catching up with her father and the twins sharing their ideas and inventions with her. Tate had pulled George aside and had a fatherly talk with him which consisted of threats if the boy ever hurt his daughter. Astrid had entered the room mid conversation and had caught her dad in the middle of a threat, she scolded him quickly and removed George from the room. The rest of the days she spent with the twins. They had shown her every single product they had made, along with describing their plan to use the money Astrid had given them as a down payment on a storefront. Astrid supported them wholeheartedly and was extremely excited to see how everything would turn out.
It was now the day all of the children left to Hogwarts. Astrid had woken that morning and made sure all of her things were in her trunk. She stuffed her wand in her converse as she always did and pulled her hair into a messy ponytail. She soon met everyone at the bottom of the stairs, ready to leave for school. Tate hugged his daughter, kissing her forehead and telling her goodbye and that he would be writing to her. She then hugged Remus, the man slipping her a bar of chocolate for the trip which she gladly took. Soon enough Molly was ushering the younger ones out of the house, the trio of 7th years following.

"Good evening children" Dumbledore spoke over the loud chatter of everyone in the great hall. Astrid felt uneasy walking in to Hogwarts at first. Everyone had stared at the young girl, shooting her strange looks and sharing whispers with their friends. George had chewed out a group of boys who called Astrid 'The girl who lies' on the way off the train. Draco had as well said something of course and Fred was the first to snap at him that time. Sailor and Casey had jumped in as well, spitting insults to the younger boy. They were now back in the great hall, listening to Dumbledore's speech.
"We have two changes in staffing this year" Dumbledore began, making Casey and Astrid turn their attention to him. "We're pleased to welcome back Professor Grubbly-Plank, who will be taking care of magical creatures while Professor Hagrid is on temporary leave. We will also welcome our new defense against the dark arts teacher, Professor Dolores Umbridge. I'm sure you will all join me in wishing her a good luck. As usual our caretaker Mr. Filch has asked me to remind you-"
Dumbledore was cut off by the new Professor dressed in pink from head to toe. She let out a small giggle and cough, everyone turning slowly to her in confusion.
"She's a nutter" Astrid mumbled, earning a small laugh from the two twins sitting directly behind her at the Gryffindor table. The lady stood and walked to the side of Dumbledore slowly.
"Thank you headmaster, for those kind words of welcome" the woman spoke, clasping her hands together with a smirk on her face. "And how lovely to see all of your bright, happy faces smiling up at me."
Astrid looked around her, seeing not one smile on any students face.
"I'm sure we're all going to be very good friends" the woman finished.
"That's likely" the twins muttered out at the same time making Casey and Astrid cover their mouths and stifle their laughs.
"The ministry has always considered the education of young witches and wizards to be a vital importance" the woman continued, now pacing in front of a slightly annoyed Dumbledore. "Although each headmaster has brought something new to this historic school, progress for the sake of progress, must be discouraged. Let us preserve what must be preserved, perfect what can be perfected, and prune practices that ought to be.... prohibited."
Astrid quickly turned her head, looking to George who raised his eyebrows and shook his head. Astrid didn't even know what to think as she turned to Casey who was completely confused as well. The woman in pink walked towards her seat once more as Dumbledore slowly clapped, only the first years really joined in.
"Thank you Professor Umbridge" Dumbledore spoke, everyone could tell he really did not care about what the woman had said.

Astrid was walking through the common room when a familiar blonde stopped her once again.
"Astrid, why are you even back?" Draco asked as him and his two puppy dogs, as Astrid and Casey called them, followed behind him.
"I don't know Draco? Maybe because it's a requirement for me to go to school" Astrid bluntly replied before shoving past him.
"You know my father almost didn't let me come back this year? The daily prophet is saying some nasty things about you, Harry, and Dumbledore."
"Your stupid father believes that?" Astrid said, spinning on her heel quickly now facing the boy. Everyone in the common rooms had quit their conversations and were now listening in on the argument.
"My father is not stupid do not-"
"I'll have a go at anyone who calls me OR Harry a liar. Draco I'm gonna let you in on a little secret. I'm not sure why you want to tell me that you almost didn't come back because quite frankly if you didn't, I wouldn't care. And here's the real catch, I don't think most people would, you foul git."
"My father will hear about this" Draco said, strutting past Astrid towards his room. Astrid rolled her eyes before looking around to see everyone's eyes on her.
"Anyone else have a problem with Astrid?" An angry Casey questioned as everyone stared and slowly shook their heads. "Good."
Astrid turned quickly once more and headed up the stairs to their room. It almost felt like the first year she was at Hogwarts again. Everyone seemed slightly afraid of her or thought she was a freak. Somehow it always seemed to be Harry and Astrid in these situations.
