It was weeks since the event at the Quidditch cup and Astrid was now sitting on the train to Hogwarts. Casey and Sailor sat on either side of her as George and Fred sat across. When Astrid had returned home to Remus he was almost too scared to let the girl leave to Hogwarts after what she had experienced. After pleading and explaining that she was totally fine he let her go, making her promise to send him a letter if anything odd was going on.
Astrid munched on her pumpkin Pastie and read the paper in front of her.
"How can the ministry not know who conjured it" Astrid spoke suddenly, rolling her eyes in disbelief. "Wasn't there any security?"
"Loads according to dad" Fred replied, his mouth stuffed with a chocolate frog.
"It happened right under them, that's why they were so worried" George added.
"I'm just happy everyone's ok" Astrid finished. "Remus was scared for me to even come to school."
"Oh thank god he let you" Casey said suddenly.
"Yea I think we would lose our minds without you" Sailor added with a laugh.
"We all would" Fred and George finished, Astrid smiling to her friends warmly.

Astrid stood with all of her friends in awe of what was happening in front of her. The students had caught wind that two schools would be coming to visit Hogwarts, Durmstrang and Beauxbatons. They stood in the corridors, watching as the students arrived. Durmstrang arrived first, a carriage pulled by Pegasus's. They nearly took out Hagrid who was guiding them where to land, the students giggled as the large man let out a yelp and jumped aside.
"Well there's something you don't see everyday" Fred exclaimed as George laughed from behind the girl, leaning over her shoulder to see. Luckily, as she was so short, she had gotten the window spot beside Ginny where she could closely see the amazing entrances. Next came the Beauxbatons in large ship that appeared out of the black lake. Water flew off the ship as it rocked back and forth, so large it made the lake look like a pond.
Soon the students were sat in the great hall for the first time in the new school year. The first years were just placed in their houses, Astrid was the only one at the Slytherin table who cheered loudly for Ginny who was of course placed in Gryffindor. Dumbledore was now at the pedestal making announcements.
"Well now we are all settled and sorted" the bearded man began. "I would like to make an announcement. This castle will not only be your home this year, but home to some very special guests as well."
The doors of the great hall slung open and Mr. Flich came awkwardly running across the hall towards Dumbledore. Astrid turned to Casey and they both tried holding in their laughter. He leaned to Dumbledore, whispering something before taking back off out the doors and slamming them shut.
