Astrid's eyes fluttered open, adjusting slowly to the brightness of the room she was in. With muttering voices and sounds she quickly distinguished it as the Hogwarts Hospital. She looked around, lifting her head slowly as the memories began filling her head. Her body no longer hurt but soreness was still in her arms.
"Astrid" she heard suddenly, her eyes falling on Remus who was sitting beside a puffy eyed George.
"Morning" she said, sitting up slowly and propping her back against the headboard. Remus grabbed her hand, George's already in one.
"How are you feeling?" George questioned as he rubbed his thumb over her hand.
"Never better" she said, her voice raspy from all the screaming she had done. "How long have I been out?"
"Three days" Remus replied softly and she nodded slowly.
"Is Harry okay?" she asked suddenly.
"He's doing alright, worried about you though" Remus said. "Listen, there's not too much longer left in the school year so I would really like it if you just went ahead and came home with me. You need time to recover and get better. Dumbledore said it was best for you to do so as well."
Astrid slowly nodded, she didn't want to leave Hogwarts, but she definitely needed rest.
"Let me go find Madam Pomphrey, let her know you're up" Remus said, standing and leaving the room. Astrid's head turned to George who was staring at her with tired, red eyes.
"Are you okay?" she asked him and he nodded slowly.
"Seeing you like that and hearing your screams" he began, biting his lip and closing his eyes. "I don't ever want to see you like that again."
"I'm okay George."
"I know but you weren't, you were in so much pain" he said quickly. She interlaced her fingers with his and squeezed his hand.
"Did Harry win?" Astrid questioned suddenly.
"Um no Astrid," he began, her face falling into a frown. "You did."
She widened her eyes and looked to George who was now sporting a small smile. She took a deep breath and looked at him sweetly
"I want you and Fred to take the money" she said, hinting towards the winnings.
"What?" George asked suddenly, shocked. "We're not-"
"Yes you are" she replied quickly. "If you don't I'm just gonna let it go to waste. Take it george. You and Fred can use it as a startup for your joke shop. I mean I know 1000 might not be much but-"
Suddenly George was wrapping the girl in a hug and kissing her forehead. She smiled sweetly as he pulled away and she laid her hand on his check, rubbing it softly.
"Are you really sure? I don't want to-"
"George if you don't take the money then I'm going to tell Fred to."
George rolled his eyes before leaning down placing a kiss on the girls lips.

Astrid was now walking down the hall, Fred on one side and George on the other. The trio followed Remus towards the exit of the school, the twins carrying the small girls trunk and bags. She had spent the majority of the day saying bye to her friends and packing her things. They were all sad to see the girl go but they all knew it was what she needed. The Cruciatus curse wasn't just something you recovered from overnight.
The group soon reached the exit. Astrid turned, wrapping Fred in a hug and thanking him.
"Make sure to finish the year with a good prank, lighten everyone's moods" Astrid said as the boy smiled.
"Of course we will, but if we get caught I'm blaming it on you" Fred said quickly, sending the girl into a fit of laughter. She then turned to George who was sadly smiling to the girl. She wrapped her arms around his neck, his hands making their way around her waist and his head laying in her neck.
"Promise me you'll write" he muttered softly as she pulled away.
"Of course I will" Astrid replied. "Besides I'll see you soon!"
"I know it's just gonna suck without you here" Fred joined in.
"You survived 4 years here without me, it's only a month" she said laughing.
"Well we didn't know what we were missing" Fred began.
"Until you came here" George finished. She once again wrapped the two in a hug before Remus suddenly spoke.
"Astrid it's time to go" Remus said interrupting the moment.
"Way to kill the moment Remus" Astrid said, the trio looking like they were about to cry as they held each other.
"Oh shush you'll see them all soon I'm sure" Remus said with a small laugh. Astrid joined before turning to George and standing on her toes, pecking his cheek softly. She backed away as Remus finished putting her bags in the flying car that had just landed moments ago.
"Thank you" Remus said, shaking Fred's hand before turning to George and shaking his. He suddenly hugged the boy before pulling back and placing his hands on the his shoulders.
"Thank you George" he began. "For caring for Astrid so much and looking after her while she was in the hospital. You boys are incredible young men."
George's eyes met Astrids and she sent him a bright smile. Seeing her godfather talking to her boyfriend and best friend like this made her heart melt.
"Thank you sir" Fred began.
"It means a lot" George finished with a smile and nod. Soon enough Astrid was waving goodbye to the twins as she sat in the passenger seat of the flying vehicle. She knew she would see them again but being around them everyday was so different. She was already missing them as she looked down on them, the trio waving to each other as the car lifted into the sky before taking off across Hogwarts.
