Katherine's POV:
As soon as practice was over I ran upstairs as fast as I could to avoid Eric. He came earlier than I would have expected. I came close to beating Marian today. It was probably because I didn't want Eric to see me loose. I hated that I wanted to impress him so much. After he left I practically ran to my room and searched for the perfect outfit for tonight. Something that was cute and casual. I finally found something in my disorganized closet, but I had too many clothes for me to organize them all. I took a quick shower enjoying the hot water, but not enough to make me want to stay. I put on my light pink dress, white sweater, and heels. I curled my hair and added just a dab lip gloss to make my lips glossy of course. I wasn't trying to impress him with the lip gloss it was just something I always did. No matter where I went I looked my best and my lips were always glossy, but never too glossy. Some people go overboard. There was a knock at the door when my mom entered. "Hey, mom," I said.
"You look beautiful." She said.
"Thanks. What's your reason for dropping by my room?" I asked.
"Your dad's making you guest very uncomfortable." She said.
Eric's POV:
Katherine's father, Kenneth was giving me a death glare. I gulped while looking at his stern face. "How's life?" I asked trying to lighten the mood. "Good." He said.
"That's nice," I said.
"Daddy," Katherine said. I turned to see her and her mother in the steps. She looked beautiful in her knee Hugh pink dress and white sweater. She was amazing to me in every way. I knew that I told her that this was a lot to process, but everyone is inclined to make a mistake or two along the way. "Sorry honey. You look adorable." He said. "Thanks, dad." She said and kissing his cheek. "You look amazing," I said. "You're not so bad yourself." She said. "Who was that lady you were fighting?" I asked.
"That was my trainer Marian. She says that in order to work on my fairy I must work on myself first." She said.
"You'll need more training than that to fight me," I said.
"We'll see hotshot." She said an walked past me. One thing was clear to me. Katherine Lane had my heart forever in her own.
