Eric POV:
"I can't believe you said yes," Clover said. She had been talking about it ever since I said that I would go out with her. It was strange that we were dating after years of being friends. I sat down at the lunch table watching as Ariel, Logan, Blaze, Hope, Peyton, and Katherine laughing and walking to their table. The shock of thinking that you know someone. I wondered if anyone else knew hat they were fairies. They just act so normal and carefree. Each with a different personality, but they collide like moths to flame. "I agree," I said.
"So next week alright." She said. "Wait what," I said. Truthfully I hadn't been paying attention to a word that Clover was saying. "I said I wanna show you something and you can't judge me until you get the full story." She said.
"What do you have to show me?" I asked out of pure curiosity. "It's a surprise little duck." She said and pecked my cheek once Kat looked in our direction. I felt my cheek burn hot and I tried to smile, but I felt stunned and couldn't move. She waved to us and then turned back to her friends who looked at her in pity. She waved them off and must have said something funny because they all laughed. "Hurts that she isn't sad?" Victor asked. "What are you talking about?" Clover asked.
"Your little boyfriend and his girlfriend." He said.
"Him as Kat are over," Clover said. I could practically feel the venom falling from her words. "Of course they are," Victor said. "Is it your life goal to pick fights?" Blaze asked setting her hand on Victor's shoulder. "Sister," Victor said. "Brother." Blaze said. It was amazing how they were so alike, but hated each other with a passion. "Hi," I said biting into my sandwich. "Hey. I wanted to ask you something." Blaze said. "I'm listening," I said.
"In private." She said. I sat my sandwich down and followed Blaze to a corner in the cafeteria. I spotted the burning eyes Logan, Ariel, Peyton, and Katherine. I couldn't see Hope until she was right next to us. "Did you just use your powers?" I asked.
"No, Peyton slowed downtime," Hope said. "Okay. What did you wanna ask me?" I asked.
"Does Clover know?" Hope asked.
"Know what?" I asked.
"Our secret." Blaze said.
"No, I kept my promise," I said.
"Kat says thanks," Hope said.
"Don't think I won't burn you if you try anything." Blaze said.
