Katherine's POV:

We waited for our waiter to return to our table. "What made you ask me to dinner?" I asked.

"My mom said something that sorta stuck a nerve," Eric said.

"What did she say?" I asked.

"Just know that she changed my entire  view know your situation." He said.

"Tell your mother to thank you," I said. Our waiter came and sat our food in front of us. "Enjoy your meal. Master Williams do tell your parents to drop by sometime." The waiter who also happened to be the owner said. "Will do Mario," Eric said.

"This looks amazing," I said.

"I'll tell the chef." He said.

"How  do you know everyone here?" I asked. "Don't tell anyone, but Mario's my second cousin." He said.

"Your secret is safe with me," I said.

Eric's POV:

Her laugh was like heaven to my ears as I told her the story about how I met Clover. At first I thought that she would be furious, but she wasn't she just laughed. "I can't believe she saved your butt." She said.

"I swear she was the toughest 9-year old I'd ever met," I said.

"You have to tell me more of your amazing childhood." She said.

"Tell me something about your childhood," I said.

"There's not much to tell. Most of my time I was training or in beauty pageants." She said.

"How many trophies?" He asked.

"Let's see. I started at 5 and stopped at 14 so 9." She said.

"No way, you won every pageant you entered," I said.

"Did you ever doubt me." She said.

"Not even a little," I said. She smiled and stuck her fork into her chocolate cake. All I could do was stare at her. "Why are you staring?" She asked.

"You're just really beautiful," I said.
