Katherine's POV:

I sat the popcorn down on the dining room table and waited for everyone else. Today was our movie night sleepover and I literally had to beg my dad to let the guys stay the night and we all leave for school tomorrow together. There was a knock at the door, but I didn't get up to answer it. "It's open," I said. The door opened and Hope walked in without Peyton by her side. "Where's Peyton?" I asked.

"He'll be by later. He said he said stuff to do. Why didn't you answer the door?" She asked.

"I didn't feel like it," I said as Hope flopped down on her couch. "I could've been a killer or something." She said. "Then I would get my full sun powers and power up," I said.

"Do you ever hate hiding who you are?" Hope suddenly asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Hiding the real you. Keeping it all bottled up." She said.

"Sure I hate which is why I rely on Eric so much. I yearn for someone outside of fairies to understand me." I said.

"Is it hard?" She asked.

"You have no idea, but he's trying to cope with it and I'm going to be patient because news like this shouldn't be rushed," I said.

"You have more hope than me." She said. "It's a given talent," I said.

"What's a given talent," Ariel said coming out of Hope's water bottle. I mean as soon as Hope opened the bottle all the water was flying out and formed both Ariel and her bag. "Do I even wanna know?" Eric asked seeing water still form Ariel. "Sorry. I forgot not to use magic around you." She said. "Actually it's okay with me. Still a little freaky, but in trying." He said.

"Hurt Kat and I'll freeze you to death," Logan said entering the house. "Should I be worried or was he joking?" Eric asked. "Don't worry. I'll burn you to death first. He can freeze your ashes." Blaze said.

"Enough. You guys are scaring the poor boy." My mom said.

"Afternoon Mrs.Lane." Everyone, but me said. "Where's Peyton?" She asked.

"Right here. So glad you guys missed me." He said.

"You know your sister always worried about you," Ariel said.

"Can you blame me?" Hope asked.

"You kids enjoy the movies. Don't stay up too late and Katherine you know where we are if you need us." My mom said. "Thanks, mom," I said.

"No beating the bush." My dad said.

"Sure whatever that means," I said. About halfway throughout the movie Peyton stood up and passed out. We forced Hope to calm down and told her he was probably seriously tired. She didn't believe us, but she cooled down just a bit for us to talk some type of sense into her.
