3 weeks later:

I went to my locker to grab my Biology textbook. "Hey, beautiful." A voice said. The voice sent shivers down my spine and my heart skip a beat. If I had this reaction with everything he said I would die right here on the spot. "Hey, handsome," I said closing my locker. Ever since that night Eric and I had been inseparable. He threw his arm over my shoulder and I have his a peck on the cheek. Even though its been three full weeks he has yet tried to kiss me. I dropped me off at my biology class and was on his way. "How's the romance?" Hope asked.

"Still nothing," I said. Hope, Ariel, Blaze, Peyton, Logan, and I grew stronger as friends and now we were best friends. We too were inseparable. Due to my brains Logan and Ariel came out to Logan's father last week that they were mates and surprisingly Logan's father was okay with it. He allowed Logan to claim Ariel whenever he chose too. "My romance is perfect," Ariel said. "How do I tell him I'm a fairy?" I asked.

"Simple." Blaze said.

"Care to help me out?" I asked.

"Oh don't tell him." She said.

"You want me to keep my secret in the dark from my mate," I said.

"If he never ask don't tell him." Blaze said. "I have to agree with Blaze in that one," Hope said.

"As your mate, he must understand," Ariel said. "As a guy, he won't." Blaze said. "Is he human, he won't," Hope said. Part of me felt as though they were right. As a human, his mind is not capable of believing in such a thing and if I were to give him proof there is no telling what is to happen. I want to tell him so bad, but there is just never the right time. I want to do it at a restaurant so that he can't make a scene, but I could do it where he is most comfortable just in case he wants to run I shall give him that privilege. "Let's not focus on that yet Kat," Hope said. "So what do I focus on them?" I asked.

"Getting that well-deserved kiss of yours." She said. I laughed at the way she said it. Having them around was great because they helped me in tough times, but I just couldn't seem to drop it. Ariel was right too as my mate he should be able to understand, but how could I just slide it into a conversation.

Eric POV:

These past 3 weeks were amazing, but I couldn't help but feel that Katherine was hiding something important from me. I hated being left in the dark like this. I also hated how whenever I came close to kissing her I chicken out. "Make your move on princess yet?" Peyton asked. Peyton and Logan weren't really my friends. I would call them acquaintances since they are the best friends of my girlfriend. It often bothered me that she was so close to them. "Let him be," Logan said.

"I don't need you defending me," I said.

"Just trying to help," Logan said.

"Don't," I said. Clover entered the room looking down sad. I hadn't talked to her in 3 weeks and she only looked sad when something happened. "Morning." She said to me noticing me staring at her. "Is everything okay?" I asked. "Why should you care?" She asked. I frowned at her. "I'll always care, Clover," I said.

"My dad again." She said. Her dad was often getting sick and then getting sick again. I always felt bad that Clover had to go home to that so sometimes she stayed with me as my family.
