Part 2

Well, this marks the second part of the story of Teen Beasts. The aftermath of what happened with the arrival of the Dread Doctors and Theo's manipulations of the pack. The song Control by Halsey (Male Version) I think is a good one for the inner dilemma and soul of our favorite beasty boy.

Well, sadly, during the first part of the story we saw how everything began crumbling apart. Not just for the members of our favorite pack but to their friends and families. Everyone has been broken down in some way. Some in more ways than one. Add in the fact that now Theo has gotten his own pack made up of a handful of the Dread Doctors "failures" while they have gone to achieve "success".

Now we get on with the second part where we see the aftermath of it all.

The Dread Doctors have gotten their success in the form of Le Bete du Gevaudan, or the Beast that spawned the legacy of the Argent hunting family. It has returned and is set to make Beacon Hills its feeding grounds yet finds it presence challenged by more than one lycanthrope legacy. One is a self-made alpha named Scott McCall with his pack of friends. The other is the current incarnation of the Beast, Stiles Stilinski. Normally, to be against such odds, Le Bete might not have a chance in hell. However, things between them are far from normal.

Scott is still reeling from his "death" at the hands of Theo which leaves him feeling...less than he is used to. His friends, his pack have scattered leaving him as an Alpha without a pack. He moves to try and get them back but the one that he wants and needs the most might just be the one that he can never get back. Scott is left to realize that his past decisions and actions have consequences that are coming back in ways he couldn't have imagined.

Stiles is dealing with the changes he's suffered during the Supermoon, both physical and emotional. Kicked out of the pack by his best friend, he is alone as he goes through his greatest and most painful changes yet. Having flashes of pain and urges to rip random people's limbs off, Stiles is scared he's going to go out of his mind. As much as he wants to stop Le Bete, what if he only ends up replacing it? But, maybe he finds some unexpected help.

Throw in Malia clashing with her psycho birth mother, Liam caught between Hayden and Lori's packs, Lydia in a catatonic state, Kira going through a spirit quest, Jordan Parrish with his own emerging powers which seem determined to clash with the Beast(s), Theo and his new pack of chimeras and the Dread Doctors themselves, Beacon Hills may become it's own madhouse. Then there is the situation on the opposite side of the country. What is Oscar planning for the Hales, especially for the little baby one? What is his purpose?

There will be some returning characters that we haven't seen in a while and some whom we will discover more about.

Tequan Richmond as Virgil Edelman

Slowly, Virgil has started to have small suspicions about what has been happening in Beacon Hills, which had been picking up in activity the last few weeks before the night of the Supermoon. That night, Virgil came face to face with the jaws of death, and lived. Now he sees that everything he thought he knew was only just the tip of the iceberg and all the stories that his grandmother had told him he sees were all right. The last thing Virgil ever wants to do is get involved in anything, especially with supernatural monsters and mad scientists thrown into the mix, but now that he's seen some of what's behind the curtain, he can't go back. And, whether he might believe it or not, he might be what a certain wolf needs.

Luke Benward as Ruben

Ruben was the first guy her own age that Cora had connected with since leaving Beacon Hills. He seemed like he was a real nice guy until it was revealed that he had been working her for Oscar, the Alpha of the 'Pawshroud' Pack. Yet, it seems that his affection and care for Cora wasn't as fake or staged as he would have liked it to be. Yet, he stands by his actions as there is something looming over on him and he finds that betraying Cora was his only hope. He had found who is the father of Jason Hale and shared it with the ambitious Alpha for what he sees is his only chance but will it all be worth it in the end?

Ben Stillwell as Zach Powell

Out of all the people taken in Beacon Hills by the Dread Doctors, Zach is the only one of the chimeras that was fortunate enough to escape death. Zach is a chimera that has the strength and claws of a werewolf but can sprout wings of turkey vulture feathers. He is stable but is still considered a "failure" by the Dread Doctors in the same manner that Theo is. He doesn't think of himself as a brave person but still finds himself wanting to help Stiles, who he feels an attachment and debt to. Yet, he tells himself that this will only be a temporary arrangement and then he will go and leave Beacon Hills behind him. However, he finds that might be easier said than done.

Jamie Dornan as Oscar

Derek Hale and his friend Maggie Carson have been investigating the alpha of the Pawshroud Pack for a while now. He has been expanding his pack's numbers by turning those with military experience. People like Charlie Harris. Not only that but has started gathering neighboring packs in the immediate region and forming alliances. Now he has found out that who fathered Cora's son Jason. With that knowledge, he makes plans to use it to his own ends and further his growing power. But, to what end is all of this for?

Part 2 will come at January 28. That just happens to be on a full moon. Fitting. Mark your calendars and tune in on that day. Please stay safe everyone.
