Stubborn

3rd Person POV

"Minho, look at this!" Chan pointed his laptop at Minho.

They both are in the workspace. Chan called Minho because there was something important he needed to know.

"This is a photo of Mr. Han and his son, and this is an Instagram photo of the kid we kidnapped" Chan explained, pointing at his laptop screen.

Minho nodded in understanding and gave direction to Chan to continue his explanation.

"And this is a photo of a kid that we kidnapped with a man and a woman. Look carefully! The man in this photo is similar to our rival" Chan paused for a moment to look at Minho who was trying to observe the photo on the screen.

"What does this mean?" Minho was confused by Chan's explanation.

"I think Mr. Han your rival is the uncle of the kid we kidnapped" Chan answered Minho's question with a little anxiety.

"So you say the kid we kidnapped is a niece of my enemy?" Chan nodded. "How could he be his niece? Look at the face of the child we kidnapped is same as the face of his son" Minho tried to deny Chan's opinion.

"There's only one way we can find out the truth," Chan spoke.

"Do you know this person?" Chan shows Mr. Han's photo to Jisung.

"No?" Jisung asked in confusion.

"HOW CAN YOU DON'T KNOW!! HE'S YOUR FATHER!!" Minho shouted startling Jisung. Jisung's body immediately trembled at Minho's scream.

Minho approached Jisung, shifting Chan who was in front of Jisung. He held Jisung by the collar who was scared to death.

"You! Listen to me! Don't ever try to lie to me if you still want to enjoy tomorrow!" Minho ordered to Jisung who was trembling in his seat.

Minho then took the photo that Chan brought and showed it to Jisung again. "Answer honestly, do you know this person?"

"I-" Jisung try to saying something but he can't. After a moment he continue to speak "I don't k-know him" Jisung answered shaking.

"DON'T LIE TO ME!!" Minho held Jisung's chin harshly.

"I-i'm not lying to you, I-i really don't know that p-person"

"This person is Han Myungdo and you are Han Jisung his son!" Minho shouted at Jisung and shook his chin hardly.

"I'm really Han Jisung but he's not my father" Jisung tried to deny Minho even though his voice sounded weak.

"Stop playing with me, you want to be punished?" Minho grabbed Jisung's hair.

"I'm not p-playing with y-you, I'm not his son. P-please don't h-hurt me"

“Lee Know, I think he's telling the truth” Chan grabbed Minho's arm trying to stop him.

Minho took a deep breath and then left the basement without a word.

A few hours after trying to calm down in his room Minho came back to Jisung. This time he was alone without anyone accompanying him. He opened the basement door and saw Jisung eating, fed by Jongsuk.

They both were not aware of Minho's arrival until Minho cleared his throat. They both turned towards the source of the sound.

"Jongsuk, are you done?"

"Yes boss" Jongsuk answered as he stood up from his seat.

"Okay out. I want to talk to him" Jongsuk nodded understandingly and bowed slightly to his boss. Then he came out leaving Minho with Jisung.

Minho then sat on the chair in front of Jisung. Jisung is very uncomfortable around Minho. Minho who saw Jisung's behavior then grinned.

"Baby boy, I just wanted to talk, I won't hurt you" said Minho in a calm voice.

Hearing this, Jisung raised his head to look at Minho, whose face was covered with a mask. He could only see his brown eyes without knowing the shape of the face of the man in front of him.

Minho leaned forward. Jisung immediately leaned back, but unfortunately his body was blocked by the back of the chair. Minho grinned.

"Why don't you be honest with me if you are the son of Han Myungdo?" Minho asked in a calm tone.

"I am not the son of Han Myungdo" Jisung explained trying to look calm even though mentally he was very scared.

"Hmmm okay then" Minho nodded and leaned back on the chair he was sitting on.

"If you are not Han Myungdo's son then why is your face so similar to his?" Minho asked while looking at Jisung's face, looking in detail.

"I don't know" Jisung explained.

"Take a look at this! This is your photo, right?" Minho showed a photo of Han Myungdo with his son.

"It's not me, I don't know who he is and I also don't know why he looks lik-" Jisung explained shaking.

"Ssshhh... You talk too much. I don't like noisy people" Minho cut Jisung by putting his index finger in front of his mouth, signaling Jisung to be quiet.

"Stop lying and admit it"

"I already told you that I'm not the person you mean" Jisung said to Minho. It worked because it didn't stutter. Mentally he was happy that he didn't stutter at all.

"Look, I won't believe what you say" Minho said with a serious tone.

Minho then stood still in his seat staring intently at Jisung. He was trying to reduce his emotions by taking a deep breath. He sighed. His anger had subsided and he was no longer interested in being in this room anymore.

Jisung could only look Minho's eyes. Observing Minho who was trying to catch his breath. Minho always wore a mask when he met Jisung and all he could see was his eyes. Minho has beautiful brown eyes, but for Jisung they hold secrets and horror.

Minho suddenly stood up. Jisung was shocked and immediately anticipated that he would be mistreated by Minho. Instead of that, he ruffled Jisung's hair.

"Jisung. I admit your acting is very good, but I'm not interested with your games at all"

He then walked towards the exit, but after a few steps he stopped and turned towards Jisung.

"Don't lie to me again or you will regret it" said Minho turning around and proceeding towards the exit. Jisung who was still staying in the place was confused by what had just happened. He was confused why the leader was being gentle and on the other hand Jisung was afraid of what Minho said.

I've been so busy lately so I try to updates twice today. I don't know why this book already have 1k reads. But I'm so happy that other people like reading my story.
