(Not) Completely Sane

Chapter 8: 1V1 Continued.

after everything is fixed with the area the competition continues with Iida and Shiozaki's battle. It ended very quickly with Iida using his quirk to push Shiozaki out of the arena before she could do anything. Afterwards was a battle between Tokoyami and Ashido. Tokoyami wins because of how powerful dark-shadow is, there wasn't much of a competition between the two. next was Bakugo and Kirishima. Bakugo beat him with force, like usual. Bakugo could make a plan or strategies or he can blow everyone up and it seems he has chosen the second option and it has been working good. After Bakugo's battle with Kirishima there was a break to prepare for the Semi-finals. Uraraka and Iida were worried because Izuku hadn't appeared yet and they were also very confused as to why the battle was stopped before it actually ended. No one was given an explanation. Soon the Semi-finals started. The first battle being between Iida and Todoroki. The battle was short, Iida tried to get closer to Todoroki to push him out of grounds but this allowed Todoroki to freeze Iida's legs and cause them some problems thus ending with Todoroki as the winner. The next was Bakugo and Tokoyami. Bakugo ends up finding out that dark-shadow is weak against bright lights and he uses his explosions to drive him and Tokoyami back, winning the match. There was another break to get the arena ready for the grand finale, the last big battle to determine the first and second place. Todoroki was waiting in his waiting room thinking about his battle with Midoriya when suddenly the door is opened. Todoroki looks over to see Bakugo who was just as bewildered as he was at his appearance. Bakugo looks at the room number and realises he was in the wrong place.

"What the fuck are you looking at half n' half!?" Bakugo yells shoving his hands into his pockets. Todoroki looks away and continues to think about why his battle was cut short. he hears Bakugo scoff and his retreating footsteps. Soon the two students were called out for their battle.

"from the Hero course, Todoroki Shoto, and also from the hero course, Bakugo Katsuki, Ready and START!" instantly the battle begins. Todoroki immediately unleashes a large ice attack that covered the whole arena, however Bakugo is able to get through it by blowing it up. Bakugo then immediately explodes towards Todoroki and evades Todoroki's hand mid-air by using an explosion.

"Don't underestimate me!" Bakugo yells. "are you not going to use it, your left side, am I not strong enough, I want an indisputable first place, I want to be above Deku no matter what."

"You're close to Midoriya aren't you?" Todoroki asks.

"Fuck no, that stupid Deku is not close to me!" Bakugo yells sending an explosion towards Todoroki.

"Do you know why they stopped our battle short, is it because of his quirk?" Todoroki asks.

"Shut up and fight me fucking Icy-hot!" Bakugo blasts towards Todoroki once again. Todoroki lifts up his left arm and hears his father from the grand stands.

"Yes, use your left side!" Todoroki grabs Bakugo's arm and pulls him out of the direction he was going. Bakugo backs off and then starts flying fulls speed at Todoroki preparing one of his heavy and powerful attacks. Todoroki starts to lift his left arm feeling the heat around him rise but he remembers the reason he wasn't using his left side.

"it's not your father's or mother quirk but your own"

"sorry Midoriya, I can't, not yet." Todoroki tried to block Bakugo's attack using his ice but the power caused him to fly back into the large amount of ice he had created earlier knocking him out. The fact that Bakugo won so easily enraged him. after the battle Bakugo had to be forcibly taken away from Todoroki. Midnight had to knock Bakugo out using her quirk so he wouldn't hurt anyone. Izuku wakes up just before the award ceremony. The first thing he notices are the quirk nullification cuffs around his wrists. Izuku hears the door open and looks over to see Aizawa.
