The soft squeaky wails of an infant woke the girl from her faint rest. The night had been rough. Neither of them had expected such an early labor. Thankfully, with some warm towels and the help of breathing techniques, the young one was born carefully and healthy like. A phone call later and Delilah was over with Ella, checking on the small one to make sure it was going to last without the help of medical treatment.

"My baby." Vanessa uttered sleepily. She could see the blur of yellow from the corner of her eye. He had a bundle in his arms. Carefully he leaned down and rolled the bundle over, showing the small quivering child in his arms. They carried many traits to their father. It seemed the suit had indeed carried over as an inherited trait.

The child's eyes were closed, leaving them helplessly blind with only the help of their other senses to guide them to their mother's comfort. She ironically showed similar traits to Vanessa's mask. Her face and body was coated with a thin amount of pale golden fur. Her left eye was covered in a milk chocolate brown, it matched Vanessa's hair color. There was a patch that ran along her left ear and cut off on either ends, leaving a seemingly thick line along her ear. Her right ear had brown tipping over the end of it. A small tuft of hair poked out from the baby's forehead, coated in the same chocolatey brown color. Her eyebrows were small and rounded like her mother's mask. Vanessa carefully reached inside and saw the white belly that hid beneath a fluffy chest. She felt around with her finger gently, the baby finding her mother's scent and grabbing hold with her human hands. The one part that ran bare of any fur and only skin. Pale peach skin that matched her mother's and almost blended into her equally moonlight pale fur.

The baby whined and let out a soft coo, adoring the touch of the gentle giant that took her from her father carefully. Vanessa felt her eyes water as she starred at the child in awe. The baby opened her mouth slowly and revealed the gummy insides, her tongue sticking out as she yawned. It seemed even she was exhausted. The ride had been wild. Vanessa leaned back slowly and held the child close to her chest. Her bra being the only thing that covered her along with her blanket over her lap.

"So precious."

"Delilah said she should be fine, that she seems healthy." Glitchtrap responded, gently rubbing his index finger along the baby's forehead, being careful not to alarm the small thing before him. Vanessa adjusted and planted a kiss on the same forehead.

"She never once opened her eyes when we cleaned her. I hope you didn't get rug burned from all the fur." He said, clearly a little concerned for Vanessa. She smiled at him as she held the newborn close.

"I'm fine, Glitchy. Just a little tired is all."

"I wish you could see it, she has the cutest little tail in all of London." He said quietly, a smile on his face as he spoke of the infant. Vanessa giggled quietly, trying to keep from being loud so her newborn daughter could sleep peacefully.

"Does it look like yours?" Vanessa joked.

"Well who else would she get it from?" Glitchtrap joked back. The two shared a faint chuckle together. The small one in the girl's arms let out a whine, alerting the two she needed attention.

"Perhaps we should let her sleep." He said, planting a gentle kiss on the baby then his beloved. Vanessa nodded. Glitchtrap grabbed some spare pillows and made a barrier around her, trying to keep her from rolling over in her sleep and possibly endangering the child. Slowly, the two held each other and let sleep overcome them.

In the morning, the two relaxed on their porch, Vanessa still a little tired. She looked down and noticed the small beady eyes looking around.

"Glitchy look." She said quietly. He looked over and saw the half lidded eyes staring at him. Faint lavender eye whites and green irises. He smiled and ran his index finger along the child's cheek, feeling her fuzz along her cheek as she snuggled up close to his warm touch. He could see the shines in her eyes as her pupils met with the light, bright magenta glaring about. He chuckled.

"She has your eyes, but a glare like her father." Glitchtrap said quietly. Glitchtrap could feel his rabbit tail shake about, possibly out of excitement. Something hit him and he paused.

"We never named her, did we?" He asked. Vanessa giggled.

"I already had that planned. How about Beyonca?" She asked reassuringly. The man beside her nodded.

"Alright. A fitting name for a fellow Afton." He said, gently ruffled the tuft of brown hair on her head. Vanessa giggled.

"I'd rather it be an Afton than a Morgan." She said, running her hand along the baby's small head. Glitchtrap stared off momentarily. He thought along the past reflections of his life and took a breath, reaching into his vest and pulling out his medication, taking a few pills to keep a black out from occurring.

The small child remained quiet as she gazed off into the distance, taking in her surroundings, despite not realizing what she could see. Vanessa watched as the neighbors walked by. Matt did stop by, Springy on his shoulders as usual. Vanessa let the small rabbit admire the smaller one in the bundle.

Glitchtrap had found his home, Vanessa had redeemed her life. It seems the start of a newer and better family was all they needed to help through their troubles. Opening up was not the only thing one or the other used. Breaking down made them build up stronger. The farm across from them filled Glitchtrap with an uncertainty that ate at him more so than any guilt he managed to experience. There was one mistake he needed to make right, he knew it wasn't going to be easy nor if he could even do it. What he had done brought out the better but it left him at stake. He had to try and mend his family from his old life.

World's would have to clash, collide. But that would happen when the time came, right now he needed to focus on his new and current family. Keeping that past off his mind would need to be done in order to keep on pace. To stay the course. Vanessa was happy, he needed to keep her, himself, their family happy. His mistakes didn't need further ponderance. He needed to keep them as safe as possible until he could do this on his own. Getting them involved would make it worse. But it would happen with the time came. He opened his eyes and hugged the girl before him. His family needed him now and he wasn't going to repeat the same mistakes. No more playing into his brother's plans, no more letting his madness control him. Redemption came even when he didn't feel the need for it. He was grateful. Vanessa and his child was all he needed. He was sure of it.

"I love you, My Dear Protege." He said quietly.
