A "Normal" Life with Servants

A Truly "Normal" life?

The echoes of laughter and anger ring through the darkened room as the light of a nearby lamp illuminates a lone figure leaning on the desk with their head buried in their arms with light snoring. Beside him, however, laid a certain golden magical cup that many would sacrifice to just get their hands on it.

The door suddenly opens quietly as a feminine figure pokes her head in and scans the area before laying her eyes on the sleeping male. Grunting, she makes her way towards the table and gently shakes him.

This makes the male groan and turn his head the other way making the girl roll her eyes. She was about to shake him more... forcefully but something caught her eye besides the Grail.

A Journal sat next to the sleeping male. Curious, she grabs the journal and starts reading it while glancing every second at the male... rude, respect privacy kids.

November 15th,

Ever since 'they' arrived, my life has been livelier than usual. Don't get me wrong it was a good thing since I was... very lonely before 'they' arrived in my life. My only other friend sadly had to move away for another job offer, which sucks. I'm proud of him though, wish him the best of luck on where ever he lives since he didn't specify where he was moving. Sucks but can't be beggars I suppose...

All I got to say is that I'm happy to be there 'Master' since it kinda makes me feel wanted. Even the tall, blonde bastard considered me his 'companion'. I'm truly surprised since his only friend was 'clay boi' as the fandom likes to call before it was erased...

You heard me right. 'They' came from an Anime called "Fate" where there are a lot of gender-bend historical figures. I never really was into the show until my friend who I talked about earlier begged (forced) me to watch it with him. All i got to say is that my friend was a hardcore fan of the franchise like any other Anime out there.

A personal thought on the show? It was enjoyable to say at least. The fights and Music were awesome, the "Holy Grail War" was a kinda boring idea for me since it was a battle royale for a wish... ONE wish.

Also, the lore is fucking LONG! Especially the spin-off Movies and such! I didn't even understand it for a while, and I still don't! How did my friend know EVERYTHING about the Fate lore? I will never know...

Anyways... I know it sounds crazy but it's all true. When they first arrived I was---

"Mh?"

Faster than the speed of light, she quickly but gently puts the journal down where it originally was and looks at the male who rubs his eyes.

"Jalter?...What are you doing here?" The male grunted while massaging his eyes and sitting up straight.

"I... Uh... was told by Archer that the meal is ready and we're waiting for you." Jalter replies quickly as she takes one last look at the Journal. This, however, didn't go unnoticed by the male.

"Already? That was quick. I expect nonetheless from Archer" The Male said.

Jalter nods quickly. "Alright... I'll see you there, I guess." she quickly replies while walking away at a fast pace.

"Hold on Jalter, I got a question before you go." The male declared as Jalter stops and slowly turns to face the figure.

"Were you looking through my... journal?" He questioned with a raised brow as Jalter blushed in embarrassment while looking away, trying not to meet his eyes.

"O-Of course not! W-Why would I look through some stupid Diary!" She stuttered which made the Male chuckle making her feel more embarrassed.

"So you were looking through my Journal?" He teased with a small smile.

"I-I was not!" She argued back with a glare that faltered under his gaze.

The male chuckled at her flustered state which made her go even more red of embarrassment.

"Relax Jalter, I was just teasing." He assures with a small wave.

Jalter, seemingly calming down, looked at the floor. "I... may have read a few paragraphs... and I-I'm... forgive me Y/N."

Y/N sighs before shrugging. "It's alright, Curiosity always gets the best of us sometimes."

Jalter lifted her head to meet Y/N's eyes with a shocked look.

"Y-Your not mad?" She asked.

"Nope, but just a reminder... Don't touch my stuff without permission please?"

Jalter slowly nodded while inwardly sighing in relief before clearing her throat.

"So...uh I'll see you...downstairs with the others?" She mentioned getting back to the original topic of why she was even here.

Y/N yawned with a nod. "Yup... Let me just finish something real Quick."

Jalter nods and leaves the room with a thought on her mind. "What the hell is 'Fate'?" She scratches her chin before shrugging and makes her way down the stairs.

Meanwhile, the Y/N stared at the spot Jalter once stood and sighed before picking up his pen and continuing writing.

All I got to say was, I'm happy that they are part of my life as I'm in there's... I think. Without them showing up, I would've still been the sad sack of garbage I was back at the City. Life for me truly went from bland and boring to Crazy and awesome when they first arrived.

My "Normal" life truly is something else...

Sorry for the inconvenience yesterday. The chapter was accidentally unpublished when under editing. but since it is finished I bring you a little introduction before actually going into the 'Real' chapters so to say. Im also gonna need a few scenarios from you guys so give me some ideas will yah?
