A simple four letter word is all it takes,
To confess a blissful feeling the heart aches,
She loved him like the sun and the moon,
Had lingering thoughts; whether a curse or a boon,
But he loved her like the stars in the dark,
He admired the reflection, not its spark,
His voice was her favorite sound,
One that always made her heart pound,
But he walked away when she heard the clock strike,
"honey to love and to be in love are two things unalike"
