A million thoughts run through my head,
When I look deep into your ocean eyes
I see the pain, read the words you think,
I find the person you've had in disguise
It makes me wonder why you hid you from me,
A soul of euphoria surrounded by melancholy
As i gaze upon the scars you wear,
I learn some battles weren't fair
You keep telling me no one likes you,
The truth is you've not found the one who deserves to
If you're willing to show the unknown 'you' to me,
I'd be glad to be a part of your symphony
Memories of us flash through my mind,
Nostalgic as ever, wish I could hit rewind
I may not breathe forever in this lifetime,
But I want you to love yourself through mine
You should know how much your existence means,
There is nothing better in a nightmare than a shoulder to lean
I close my eyes, engulfed in the warmth of your chest,
Finding you was seeing the difference in the rest.
