Its hard to picture memories of us in the past,
Every second of our time wanting to last,
Back in my head, I hear our faint voices mingle,
And if crying is a language, now I'm bilingual,
I didn't want to let you go, didn't want us to part,
Every single moment with you was meant to last,
But when letting you go meant happiness to you,
I didn't want to be the block you had to remove,
But I will always love you the way I used to do,
Because you taught me to love myself through you,
Losing you felt like I was caught in a crime,
Hurts to lose something that wasn't even mine,
Could never forget those green eyes with a glint that you own,
Those fire filled eyes of yours, when rain left my own.
Inspired by another poet's work.
